Best meal of our live! We have visited over 46 countries and one of them is Peru, we didn't even get as good ceviche as at La Gorfa Cocina Peruana! Great service, the chef took our order, delivered the food and then came and asked how it was! Never experienced anthying like that before. Our first night in costa and we will be back at least 2 times more before we leave! If u want a michelin star meal go here! You will not be disappointed. 100% Thanks so much!

Llegamos este restaurante por recomendacion de otro restaurante peruano en Fuengirola. Ubicado en una calle cerca de la plaza de toros es facil de llegar. Pedimos de entrada una papa a la huancaina y una causa de pollo, de plato principal un ceviche y anticuchos que para sorpresa los tenian de corazon!, para beber una cerveza cusqueña, una caña y un zumo de maracuya y de postre una torta de queso con siroop de maracuya. Al terminar nos dieron como cortesia unos chupitos. La comida esta rica, no esperen porciones contundentes y estan bien emplatados, muy bonitos a la vista. Lo mejor sin lugar a duda el ceviche, muy bien hecho, con el punto perfecto de limon, picante, sal... riquisimo. Los anticuchos 2 palitos con unos trozos de papa y unos puntos de salsa huancaina y rocoto, el corazon muy suave y perfectamente cocinados, pero claro que no tienen ese sabor al carbon, pero a pesar de eso muy buenos. La papa a la huancaina, esta bien pero a mi parecer muy poca crema. La causa tambien estubo bien. La torta de queso era un trozo muy generoso pero un poco seco. Van a ir ampliando la carta poco a poco, tienen chicha morada pero no en la carta, hay que preguntar. La atencion muy buena, no demoraron mucho en traer los platos y siempre muy atentos. A small restaurant that gives you an intimate and pleasant feeling during your stay. Excellent service from the staff, from the moment you arrive to choosing your favorite dish, or if not, they recommend their most popular dishes. The atmosphere is pleasant, but it needs to be decorated more in a Peruvian theme and made more striking from the outside to highlight its theme. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I will certainly return again.

Lovely food, well balanced and tasty. Pleasant setting, well decorated and cosy.

Now the bad bit. We ordered 2 ice coffees, we were brought two warm ones. We ordered half racions of ceviche and anticuchos de pollo. We were brought full racions of both. The ceviche we didn't realise their mistake. When I queried it, the waiter said it was a full one. When I advised him we had ordered halves of each he said it wasn't true, and insisted we pay for a full portion of ceviche. The anticuchos we queried as it arrived thankfully and he took it back and brought back a half portion. Had we not raised it undoubtedly he would have charged us for the full.

Real pity as it's a nice venue but this left a sore taste in the mouth and we will not...

I ate here on a whim, looking for somewhere decent in a tourist town in February which brings a challenge and I was very fortunate. I was the only customer when I arrived for lunch around 2pm and therefore the service was very prompt. The food was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked.
