I will start by saying my main dish (grilled salmon) was delicious but the sides could have been left off and it would have made no difference because it was literally 3 slices of potato and a spoonful of veggies, with that being said this was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. It first started with our drinks. We ordered small and large beers and were all given the exact same size of 33cl(a standard bottle). When we told them we ordered 1 small and 2 large they insisted it was in fact a large 50cl beer but they served it in a wine glass. We poured it into the 33cl glass they give you when you order a bottled beer and they STILL argued. Eventually we told them its fine but we will not be paying for large beers. As our food began to come to the table we were informed that they only had 1 order of white rice left when we ordered 2, somehow. We had to ask 3 times for a spoon and when I asked the 3rd time the woman who I previously asked gave me an attitude as if asking for the 3rd time while our food sat getting cold was an inconvenience for her. She then brought us 3 spoons and tried to take my wife’s food (that we asked for a spoon for) before she was finished. The table next to us then knocked a glass onto the floor and all the staff completely ignored it. I expected someone to come immediately and sweep up the broken glass but after watching several people literally step over it I ended up using my own foot to gather it up and away from our table as I was wearing sneakers and everyone else was wearing sandals.
We stopped here hastily because we were hungry with a party of 7 and the place had a lot of open tables compared to the other places nearby. We...
Read moreVisited this restaurant whilst on holiday in August. The waiter made it obvious from the second we arrived he didn't want to serve British customers, as this is August and Spanish time.
Service was diabolical, food was quite nice when we eventually received it. We didn't receive all the items we ordered and I reminded them on three occasions. Although they still charged us for everything ordered but not received. I pointed this out to them on the bill, and all of a sudden they could not speak English. And insisted that I had to pay. No worries, I will pay the 8 euro's for the food not served. I usually leave a 10 euro tip, but not today. Adiós.
This is the first time I have used this restaurant in main season, usually use it in October/February/May time, as I am a regular visitor to Torre Blanca.
Out of main season this restaurant is usually empty and they are glad for the business, unfortunately a business runs for 12 months of the year and not just July/August.
They have lost a customer due to ignorance and poor attitude. I will chuckle to myself when I walk past an empty restaurant in October, having used a restaurant that welcomes customers all year round. Very short sighted business attitude.
Food. 3/5. Attitude. 0/5. Service. 0/5. Value. 1/5. Rapport. 0/5. Tip. Don't use this...
Read moreThe two skewers that I ordered to take were dry, it will be because it lacked an embers and it was not hot enough to make the skewers ?, It will be because the man is from Senegal and is not used to preparing skewers or the point that should be eaten? the skewer is like meat, when you pass it is inedible and super dry, at 6 euros eo espeto and you get 8 sardines, because I find it expensive compared to other places that I've asked to take. nor napkin and almost no lemon if I do not ask, too much salt, it was too much that puts the fish, more salty than ham leg of the Chinese. They should exolcate the boy well and teach him how to make a spit, the great beach, very quiet and wide, the perfect sand, but he would eat sardines, the best Torremolinos or the area of Malaga by Huelin, I think I will go back to Palo and see other beach bars that the last time I went, the sardines seemed bait, super small, I think to eat you have to keep looking and guided by what they recommend, but here I do not return, so it costs me 4 euros the spit. I'll have another beer because I've been thirsty for the salt of...
