Palito tapas restaurante — Restaurant in Fuengirola

Unfortunately I would never be back. The restaurant in it self is clean and the customer service is overall okay. Right of the bat we had some drinks spilled on us, that is totally fine accidents happen and we get that. The service was really apologetic and we let it go.

It came time for the appertisers, patatas bravas were made from frozen premaid potatoes and overall I woulnt ever even eat them again. Usually they are also prepaired very differently from this location. Meatballs were not made in house and the sauce on them was a dissapointment.

The main course is where we had our biggest dissapointment; I tried to order the mixed shrimp they said that they were out of that one. The owner im assuming came to the table and sold me on the steak. Price was a bit much for the area but oh well we are on vacation lets do it. Plating on the dish was terrible but overall decent steak. My girlfriends portion on the otherhand: we ordered just tomato sauce, cheese and pasta. She had some medical work done during the day and was feeling ill so she wanted to eat light. We said the waiters during the apps and during the order of the pasta that she is vegetarian so no meat on her dishes. Her food came and the pasta was in bolognese sauce including ground beef. When spoken to the owner he said that ”its not meat we know she is vegetarian and we didnt put meat on it” I took a closer look and was convinced it was meat so I decided to confront him again and after the second time he admittef that yes it is meat and they will remake the dish. I feel like he knew the whole time the beef was included in the dish he just didn’t want to remake it. The vegetarian ”sauce” also was terrible we couldn’t finish the dish.

After the bill came we paid it, around 38€ / person which is a lot for the area. We never ask for discounts or reductions on the bill because the restaurant is able to make their own choises. I also understand that mistakes happen and you can’t do anything about that. What counts is how you react to them. About the spilled drink the server was very apologetic and nice no problem, the screwed up dish the owner seemed to have a problm with us compailing. They ended up charging us for the whole bill, ofcourse that is the option of the restaurant and I paid it without a word. I just think that eating out you are also paying for the experience not just the food. When both of these are disrupted I am hoping for something inreturn from the restaurant. Palito restaurant in Fuengirola is one of the most amazing dining experiences I have had in a long time. The restaurant has a cozy and inviting ambiance, with a great decor and friendly staff who welcomed us with warm smiles.

The tapas at Palito restaurant are out of this world. We ordered a variety of dishes including patatas bravas, fresh seafood platter, and prosciutto-wrapped asparagus. Every dish was cooked to perfection and came with fabulous flavors that are simply unforgettable.

My partner ordered an Angus meat steak, and it was beyond amazing. The steak was succulent and seasoned to perfection. The Angus meat was melt-in-your-mouth delicious and cooked to the perfect degree of tenderness.

We also sampled their pizza, which was one of the best we have ever had. The dough was perfect, crispy and chewy at the same time, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful.

Overall, Palito restaurant is an excellent dining experience. The quality of the food, presentation, and service cannot be faulted. We would highly recommend Palito restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience...
