After experiencing the amazing 'Ponchos' restaurant and having the best steak I've ever eaten, we tried this restaurant as it had a good reputation, or so I was led to believe....

Sadly, the whole experience was poor. We only ordered 4 steaks with some sides, but this took 1 hour 30 mins to reach us. We had a clear view of the kitchen/cooking area, and it was clear they had forgotten our order.

Tables either side of us arrived after our order was taken, and they still received their meals before us. It was only then that we watched our waiter chasing this with the kitchen staff and looking in our direction, yep, forgotten.

My wife ordered a medium steak, and my son and I needed well done for health reasons. All the steaks came out beyond well done and nothing like what we had experienced in Ponchos the night before. We ordered fillet steaks, but these were thin and more like a sirloin. We ordered the same from Ponchos and had thick, juicy steaks that were nothing like these.

We were so hungry by the time the order arrived that others in my party wanted to eat and not risk waiting another 1 hour 30 mins by sending this back. I personally wanted to pay for the wine we had and leave.

I found our waiter rude and arrogant. When we told him the meal was not good due to the long wait, he replied,'Well done takes much longer' when he knew they had lost our order. That only made matters worse by lying. Our steaks would only take a few minutes more, not 90 minutes. No excuse, and it was clear our order was missed and then rushed/burnt.

I would not go back or recommend as there was no apology, and it was put back on the customer as being our fault for asking for well done with some steaks.

I have written hundreds of reviews for restaurants around the world with 3 million views. I always try hard to find the positives and promote good food and service.

The food is OUT OF THIS WORLD good !

I was talked into the rib eye steak by the Waiter/Greeter Fernando. On holiday I like to try different stuff and I’m glad he read us so well. The rib eye was absolutely to die for. Never have I had rib eye look so good and taste so amazing. The chips were also simply amazing and different to what you’d expect.

This places gets it so right. In London this meal would have cost me £250-£300 to match its quality and experience. My bill was €68 for two people. Fantastic value for what you get.

Fernando spoke to us was walked passed. We told him that we wanted to explore the ‘alley’. He told us that if we returned he’ll even get us a free pint each. This place looked the best in the ‘alley’ to us so we returned. He gave us two pints straight up before anything even happened….. awesome.

This place is nothing short of OUTSTANDING!

Estilo Campo was recommended to me by a local when I asked for a place for a great dinner. When I walked up the street I was greeted warmly and settled with the menu without fuss.

The spicy sausage starter left me wanting to pack my bags and go to Argentina knowing I would never go hungry.

The beef escalope main was delicious, despite the cheese topping needing just a minute longer to actually melt.

The dessert of bread and butter pudding with dulce de leche saw me go off the deep end into pure gluttony. The dulce de leche gave me hyperglycaemic vibes just looking at it, but it was devoured, and I'm currently sitting here wondering if it would be so wrong to fill a swimming pool with it (please don't answer that)

Coupled with a service that was attentive, professional and friendly without being overbearing I'm very happy, well fed, and ready to slowly work it off on the way back to the apartment. Go hungry and looking for a great meal. You'll leave full and...
