Absolutely phenomenal! This is without a doubt the most authentic and delicious pizza you will find in Fuengirola, and a true hidden gem that both locals and visitors need to experience.
From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a wonderfully cozy atmosphere and the incredible aroma of a real wood-fired oven, the heart and soul of this place. It's a family-run restaurant, and that passion for genuine Italian food shines through in everything they do. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a dining experience that feels both special and comfortably familiar. We sat outside and it was a wonderful evening.
Now, the pizza. It is simply perfection. The crust is the star of the show: perfectly crisp on the outside, light and chewy on the inside, with that unmistakable flavour that only a proper wood oven can create. The toppings are fresh, high-quality, and generously applied. I tried their signature Romeo e Giulietta pizza, and it was an absolute masterpiece. The perfect balance of Rocket, Onions, Parma ham, and Mushrooms. Every single bite was a delight.
This is the kind of place that's clearly loved by locals, which is always the best sign. If you're looking for a genuine taste of Italy on the Costa del Sol, you absolutely cannot miss Pizzeria Romeo Giulietta. We will be back again and again. Highly, highly...
Read moreAwful service and rude attitude of the restaurant staff.
There were 6 of us - we ordered 6 pastas (2 carbonara, 2 with seafood and 2 bolognese). 4 pastas were brought after 20 minutes, but 2 bolognese were not brought for 40 minutes. During this time we additionally ordered drinks.
I approached the waiter and clarified when the other 2 pastas would arrive. He said: “2 more minutes”. After 20 minutes the pasta was still not brought to us.
We didn't have more time to wait, so I told the waiter we were leaving. I got 2 pasta Bolognese on my bill (which still didn't arrive).
When I said I wouldn't pay for them - they tried to force me to do so and said that pasta takes time to cook (but then why did 4 pastas come very quickly ?).
On the receipt I was given, I saw that the pasta bolognese was added to the end of the list (after the drinks we ordered). From this I conclude - that the waiter simply forgot our order and added the pastas after 40 minutes of waiting (when I approached him).
The staff tried to blame it on me.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was very loud - there were lots of kids running between the tables and constantly hitting and pushing us. The noise was so loud that my ears hurt.

Read moreRomeo y Giulietta used to be my favorite pizzeria in town, and I've recommended it to hundreds of guests who stay at my various accommodations in the Torreblanca zone. However, my recent visits have been deeply unsettling.
On my last visit, when I ordered a few pizzas, the tall, young staff member with a mustache responded in such an aggressive manner that I felt genuinely scared. His hostility escalated when I tried to clarify my order, and I was worried the situation might become physical. I found myself trying to calm him down just to feel safe.
After reading other reviews, I realize I'm not the only one who has experienced this aggressive behavior. It's heartbreaking to see how much this place has changed. Regrettably, I will be moving this restaurant from the 'recommended' to the 'avoid' category in my information leaflet for guests in the Torreblanca zone. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend...
