Restaurante Bar El Puerto — Restaurant in Fuengirola

My husband and I have just eaten lunch there today, and we would NOT recommend it to anyone. The only plus with this restaurant is that we could sit outside in the sun! I ordered swordfish with french fries and salad, and my husband ordered chicken kebab with french fries and salad as well. My fish looked and tasted very badly, and it looked like a dry rubber heel. The swordfish tasted too much of fish, and I don't think it was fresh at all. The fish was also very dry since it has been overcooked, and at the same time the fish was literally swimming in a lot of greasy oil with way too much garlic. My husband's chicken kebab was also dry, and it had probably been prepared on a pan instead of on a grill. We only ate our french fries since we were quite hungry. The waiter told my husband that the restaurant would be showing Formel 1 at 2pm, so this is why we chose the restaurant, but the restaurant never displayed Formel 1. We also payed for bread that we didn't eat, and even the bread was dry! When we payed for the food the waiter didn't ask us if we liked the food, even though we didn't ate our fish and chicken. This is one the worst restaurants we have ever visited in Fuengirola. It could be a good candidate for Gordon Ramsey's kitchen nightmare... I don't understand why this restaurant has so many good recommendations, since their fish is very bad. NB! No Spanish people were eating at this restaurant/café so it was a tourist trap...

Really poor service. I think the owner seen that I was frustrated and sorted the drinks but then left alone and not asked what we wanted for food.
