Chiringuito La Cepa Playa Fuengirola — Restaurant in Fuengirola

Beautiful view and location. But dirty and worse service we got so far in our 3 weeks in Spain. The place was not busy as we went around 4pm. Several staff were just sitting or standing around. They all looked very unhappy. No one looked at us or greeted us. Once we sat, we had to ask for menu which were slapped on the table and very dirty and sticky. The Sangria was a very pale pink instead of red and tasted like fruit punch. We intended to have dinner there. Ordered grilled anchovies. We were served fried anchovies instead but they were good. No napkins. I had to get up to go ask for napkins and the waitress looked annoyed at me. Needless to say we decided to go have our dinner somewhere else. Such a nice location but serious staff...

Let me explain where I get 2 starts from -

Taste- one star ⭐️ Service when you come in - one star ⭐️

I was disappointed because they didn’t have anything we asked for. Bread - I had to ask the girl several times, then she finally tells me they ran out and they needed to go to the store to get some. aioli sauce - ran out so they offered mayonnaise 😛 grilled sardines - this is why we came !!!! And they ran out. It’s was 2:30 in the afternoon !

The people working here were all very nice and friendly, but not having what’s on the menu is a big deal.

I’d rather try something else rather...

Ok 1 star review due to the fact that our waitress was incredibly rude being in hospitality guests who are looking for a great meal and experience at minimum should be greeted with a smile...

Food well below average nothing season with a grain of salt or cooked with love and passion advises bbq grilled fish no of which actually is.. Highly disappointing still given a horrible experience so far we thought perhaps we could leave on a all time high with a home made tiramisu.. Sadly out of a freezer 😢😢🤣 serve frozen awful would never return or recommend it even if you where starving...
