The Boston Steak House — Restaurant in Fuengirola

Saw reccomendations on line before we went on hols and decided to visit we went 3 times over our 10 day trip two teenage loving steak teens and my partner who loves his steak were not disappointed ,service was freindly especially the english waitress sorry didnt get her name but she went beyond the call of duty and we could see she was equaly attentive to all other tables she was waiting on ,....we ate full 3 courses each time with drinks and bottle wine and after dinner drinks and each time the bill averaged around 120 euros which to us is great value as at home same meal be well around the 200 mark ..Card machine was down eash night we ate there so be careful to have enough cash we thought it strange to be broke as it didnt seem be a problem in other resturants etc we wondered what would happened had we no cash ...Just one fault Saturday last abot 11.30 pm when coming to end of our meal a member of staff ,..older man dismissed the english waitress in front of us as she had allowed two customers in at this time she seemed embarrassed in front of us as was right at our table she had been so freindly to the new customers first he told her no food served then he changed his mind before listening to her say they only want to have a glass wine it came across as unfreindly ,..and unprofessional another time a family came in late and were seated and then asked to leave as no food been served maybe they need to put sign up when food is finished but the resturant still looked inviting as was open and the male member of staff who showed the family to the table didnt seem to know food was finished and then shouted over our heads down to end of resturant to the Man sitting with freinds that we presumed was the boss ,,,on no occassion that we came back did this man smile at us or give eye contact ,...over all food good but atmosphere lacks apart from one dark haired spainish woman one night that smiled.... and came to our table and for the nice english waitress we would not have returned its not cheap holiday food it is good food and good value especialy if you like your Steaks Oh and chicken wings ,......Dee ...ps English waitress was nicest waitress we met on hols ....big asset to...

Good start, lovely waitress and waiter. Unfortunately my friend's steak wasn't cooked how he asked and no one came to check on us throughout the whole meal, so he just put it aside. A nice waitress then offered to recook the meat but as it had been served pink/rare my friend had been put off, so quietly asked for it to just be removed. The (we assume) owner that had done nothing but sit at the bar the whole time, then came across and very loudly asked if there was a problem, the whole restaurant looked across. How embarrassing. My friend then said again that it wasn't cooked how he'd asked, and unfortunately was now put off so he didn't want a replacement and could we just have the bill please. The 'owner' then came back with the bill and proceeded to question my friend VERY LOUDLY Infront of everyone again and then asked where he was from???, he then said 'ah that makes sense, it's because you are Scottish, angry and loud. We do things different in Spain', trying to belittle him infront of the whole restaurant. Imagine we said something like that to someone visiting Scotland?!! (Pretty sure he wasn't even Spanish himself!) My friend only then spoke louder when the 'owner' stood above him and shouted these xenophobic comments infront of everyone, that very obviously crossed a line. My friend asked him multiple times to just leave it there and walk away and the owner continued to raise his voice and cause further embarrassment to paying customers. Yes, my friend paid the bill - I certainly wouldn't have after those disgusting comments.

To the owner: trying to humiliate customers rather than taking accountability shows that you lack the people skills needed to run a business. This whole situation could have been avoided if you cared more about the people paying your wage, rather than your fat ego. You're the embarrassment. I wonder how many Scottish, or UK tourists visit this restaurant daily? Bad move. Arrogant, defensive, horrible man.

Was very surprised by this establishment. To be honest it looked like your ordinary tourist trap restaurant, but it was actually great. We had the kids menu cheese pizza and my son was thrilled. Actually so happy with it that he want to go back today. My other son had the full rack of ribs and he was ecually impressed. His own words was that it was the best ribs he ever had. That is impressive coming from a 15 year old person that has been eating everywhere around the world his whole life and visited the worst eatablisments you can think of, but also eaten at both one, two and three stars Michelin restaurants. Me and my partner had the fried shrimps with rice and of course I took the most expensive item which was the T-Bone steak with baked potato. Both of these dishes was really good. The shrimps was a bit overdone but the taste was great. The T-Bone was exceptional and very tender...and very very big! Actually the size was 500g, so I fell asleep very full last night. And now to the service which was great. The waiter was very attentive and a bit funny, so we where happy and content. The toilet was by the way exceptionally clean and fresh. Have nothing bad to say about this place. I will add the reciept is in one of the pictures if you want to see what all of this cost. There are also puctures of the menu which does not reflect the quality of the food. The menu looked like something from a really shady establishment, but they surprised us.
