Dissatisfied

Food was not bad but growing up in my Mexican household things were done a little differently. There was no air conditioning which ruined my whole experience. It was 40 degrees celsius outside that day and i don't think it would be odd of me to expect air conditioning . Maybe i ordered the wrong thing... (enchiladas rojas) but it was disappointing. Also the rice and beans were measured into two tiny dishes that looked cute but left not much to eat. The rice and beans were passable but not the best I've had. In all at least the servers were nice but I guess I wasn't specifical enough for the owner to take my order or even thank me for tollerating her lack of amenities (air conditioning) but the couple next to us was apparently more important. In all food is average if you can even digest it in 40 degrees celsius. They have their favorite clients which get better...

The people of Fuengirola just don't know how lucky they are to have such an authentic Mexican place! Trust me, I have eaten at plenty of Mexican places in Europe and this is the best in Europe.The location is great, right off the motorway or just a short walk from Miramar. The music is even Mexican, not like those Mexican places that just play reggaeton music. The wait is a little long for certain dishes, the warning is on the menu though, which is appreciated! The service was great even after hearing the opposite. Notable dishes: queso fundido, quesadilla con flor de calabaza, birria (OMG!!), and the tortillas are something special: I have no words, just admiration respect and a pledge to eat here as often as humanly possible when we are visiting in...

Le doy una estrella porque no puedo poner menos. En primer lugar, las ofertas que publican en Instagram no coinciden ni con el horario del local ni con lo que realmente ofrecen. Explico: fuimos mi pareja y yo ayer martes, y según la oferta, durante el mes de septiembre, los martes, miércoles y viernes hay tacos a 1 € de 13:00 a 16:00. Sin embargo, cuando llegamos ayer martes, nos encontramos con que el local abría a las 17:00, a pesar de que la oferta decía que los martes se aplicaba el descuento en tacos a 1 €. Nos dijeron que, al ser las 17:00, no podíamos acogernos a la oferta, pero que podíamos aprovechar el 2x1 en una bebida en concreto y tacos. Decidimos aceptar esa oferta, ya que no había otra opción.

Al rato, la camarera nos informó de que no podían servir las bebidas de la oferta porque no estaban listas y que tardarían alrededor de media hora. Le pedimos otra opción de bebida con el 2x1, igual que la oferta, pero nos respondió que no, que solo aplicaba a las anunciadas (que no estaban disponibles). Le comentamos que nada se correspondía con las ofertas anunciadas y que, por lo tanto, nos iríamos. La camarera habló con la encargada, pero al regresar nos dijo que no había otras opciones, así que decidimos irnos y así se lo comunicamos.

Me parece un auténtico despropósito y un engaño con las ofertas que publicitan. El lugar nos había llamado mucho la atención y teníamos ganas de ir, pero el servicio y la actitud de la encargada nos quitaron las ganas de todo, sin haber probado ni...
