Shaped like a large ship (no pirate theme though) Soft surface around it shaped like waves Right next to the café’s terrace so you can have a bite/drink while your kids are playing Street parking nearby, toilets at the café You can easily walk to the playground at Parque de la Fantasia if your kids get bored with this one No shadow on the playground, only under the trees in the corner of the park and possibly on the terrace Hard to keep a good view of your kids as the ship structure is quite large and has wooden panelling on the side The cafe has nice juices but the rest of the menu...

NO ES UN BARCO PIRATA, no hay cartel, bandera o indicativo que ponga que es un barco pirata, es un barco de la corona española. Se puede ver en el propio "Parque de Poniente" la vela cuadrada con la Cruz de la orden de Cristo, que son las velas que llevaban las naves de Colón que es el emblema de la era del descubrimiento. Este parque es un homenaje a ello (descubrimiento de América). Le pongo dos estrellas porque el parque tiene un fallo enorme, no tiene lugares con sombras, estamos en la Costa del Sol, es muy difícil aguantar un rato al sol ligero. Es primordial, necesario y obligatorio poner zonas sombreadas en un parque infantil y más en las zonas de juego. En verano se puede ir de noche y no muy tarde porque la juventud se mete a hacer botellón. También otro problema que hay y es común con todos los padres que he hablado del tema, es que se pierden muy fácil de vista a los niños, tienes que estar en el centro del barco, junto a los mástiles, para poder tener visión de casi todo el barco.
