Dinner at la casa rustica One our favourites that we used to eat here at least 3 times a week when living here. It's on the main strip in Fuengirola where most of the tourist restaurants are.

It's run by the same owners for as long we can remember and it's still very good.

We sat inside because it's away from the hustle and bustle outside. They have a retractable roof so it's like sitting outside, but in.

We had our usual favourites

Starters Gambas Pil Pil (Which as you can see, is a must) Scrambled egg with Prawns & Serrano

Mains Grilled Sole Fillet Steak with Malaga wine sauce.

One of the few restaurants in this area of ​​Fuengirola that deserves 5 stars. The careful atmosphere, the exquisite service by the staff, and the excellent variety of dishes offered, are the ideal ingredients for not missing a visit to this “perfect” place to dine. The meats are of high quality, and the fish is the best you can try (I recommend the turbot). The prices are very consistent with the quality offered, and if you want to accompany your meal with a good wine at a reasonable price, ask Jose Antonio for advice… you will be surprised. We have been dinner (always with a reservation) several times, but we always leave very satisfied.
