La Reina de las Tapas — Restaurant in Fuengirola

Feels like a tourist trap, located in the crowded area.

We orded two pizzas around 21.30 in the evening. After waiting more than 40 minutes my company asked about when we would get the pizzas. Initial reaction was "of course they have not forgotten them" but soon they said "he is new, you are not the only one".

A few minutes later they gave me another beer, but nothing for my company even though she was the one that started asking about the delivery.

When the pizzas came, I had salad on mine even though I should not have any and on her pizza both salad and tomatoes were missing. We complained and the pizza was removed and salad and tomatoes were added. On the way back with the pizza he stopped and talked with other people before giving us a now colder pizza.

The pizzas were not good, tasted almost only like dough. When paying the bill we shared our experience but the waiter started to blaim other people at the restaurant because she was...

We had to wait for 45 min for bravas, ensalada rusa and croquetas, which are all tapas that are ready made and not cooked fresh. Service was absolutely attrotious and although the staff seem busy, they are just walking about, not really taking food out..or orders for that matter. Two of the group were Spanish, so communication was not an issue, staff just are not good at what they do. I come to Spain almost every month, and have NEVER has such a terrible experience at a tapas bar. I don't know about the queen of tapas, but these people definitely are the absolute kings and queens of terrible service. Please don't waste your time or money here. As for the food, when it finally arrived it was not worthy. I never leave solely negative reviews, but I have absolutely NOTHING positive say about this God...

We waited over 40 minutes on our food despite being the only customers. Our children was starving in the end and we asked twice if we could just get the food for them, but we still had to wait 15 minutes before their food arrived.

The kids’ pizza didn’t have crust, probably because it was burned so they removed it.

My risotto tasted okay, but definitly wasn’t made with real risotto rice, it was just normal rice, which isn’t acceptable for a 19euro dish.

My wife’s salmon was overcooked, the French fries undercooked. A couple of rucola leaves was the salad. The dish was 23 euro. Unacceptable.

Disappointing. Not worth the price tag at all.

The waiter was nice though. He can have three stars. But the kitchen and price tag makes me give a final...
