Tried quite a few restaurants round the area and although good Palangreros just tips the scales Very friendly and the atmosphere is easygoing and not trying to get you out to serve the next person We were lucky enough to try it once for dinner then again for Sunday lunch. The food is amazing and with being 5 of us we got to taste a good bit of the menu and never came across one bad dish Think my favourite was the chicken coquettes for starters then the pork medallions with mushroom sauce I don't like fish but my husband said the seabass was fantastic It's the touches that makes the restaurant memorable like yr warm bread and little canopies to start and chocolates and dessert wine to finish We had our grandson with us and the staff were more than good giving him his own small glass of apple juice so he didn't feel left out I do advise you to book as I seen a lot of people turned away with no reservations but I promise you won't be disappointed first class all the...

We'd been here before and on this occasion, decided to go for their tasting menu. It's extremely good value and the food is superb. The problem was matching the sequence of dishes and wine. The red was very disappointing and lost against excellent beef. Our expressions of disappointment were not welcomed. With tasting menus we've had in the UK, they usually offer a "wine flight" - a different wine with each course. To be fair, with only about ten tables, they may have too few customers who would want that. So if we ever return, and it is IF, we won't chose the...
Read moreWe visited this fantastic restaurant following a recommendation and so glad we had. I advise to book ahead to avoid disappointment. The prawn pil pil starter was delicious as was my sea bream in lobster sauce and cheesecake to finish. My partner had the scrambled eggs with black pudding and the chicken in mustard sauce, both of which were great. Little complimentary touches like hot bread with garlic butter, tuna pate amuse bouche, chocolate truffles and malaga wine with the bill were appreciated and made the experience above and beyond what we were expecting. The fixed menu prices are also very affordable which makes this place even better as they don't cut back on quality or quantity. Lastly the staff were friendly, attentive and professional. We had a lovely evening and I can't...
