Spaghetteria CasaPasta — Restaurant in Fuengirola

I love when you are offered the menu before you walk into a restaurant, that way you have an idea of what you’re getting yourself into. The hostess was so friendly and we were seated very quickly. Right away, the waitress comes ready to take your order - we were hungry, so I definitely appreciated that. The red wine - was just ok, but it was €3 so I shouldn’t complain. The food - delicious ! I got the … maybe i should’ve written what I … chef pasta with mushrooms and beef - sorry - I forgot but it was so creamy and tasty !!! My son and husband highly enjoyed the vegetarian and Diablo pizza (forgot that as well 🤨) - see the pictures. Overall, I will come back again. Food, service, prices were great!!!!

Update - came back again - Wow !!!! We got the gambas pin pin and the garlic cheese bread like a calzón - ask them about it - it’s not in the menu) If you like garlic - get it !!!! It is amazing. Absolutely amazing! As you as you walk through the door it’s as though you are teleported through time And countries. You are truly in Italy, I’m not sure where, but the surrounding make the ambiance truly magical. By the time the waiter came by to politely take our drink order, I snapped back to reality and even so I was mesmerized by it all. The staff are just so so polite. I loved them. Attentive, excellent communication skills and so humble. I felt at home, strangely. I can’t describe the food, you’ll really have to go there and experience it yourself! STARTERS: Garlic bread with mozarella (I’m assuming it was fresh mozarella cause it was absolutely delicious)

1st Main Course: Spaghetti Gamberi e cherry (substituted the spaghetti for the penne)

2nd Main Course: Pizza Il Mare (substituted the oysters for more prawns and tuna)

Desert: Tiramisu NOTHING LIKE I’VE EVER TASTED BEFORE 😍😍😍😍😍

We have eaten here several times and have been well satisfied and return often. Last night was a very UNpleasant surprise! We took a business visitor. I ordered a Salmon lasagna which was burnt on top....the rest was tasty. My wife's tagliatelle were too Al dented...undercooked (how do you undercook fresh pasta?).

Our guest requested some parmesan cheese for his pasta dish (every other Italian restaurant offers this and hovers over you to fresh grind on your dish or places a small bowl on the table)....we were actually charged €1.5!!!!

Oh! And we had to ask for black pepper! Another item that is normally offered by staff that walk around brandishing pepper grinders.
