Not many expat businesses start up on the Costa Del Sol, last five years, let alone thirty-six (yes 36), especially in the restaurant game. Scoffers on the other hand is still going strong after watching many others come and go. The thing that really stands out are the owners themselves, having the right work ethics and also the personalities and friendliness. Both Tom (who is sadly no longer with us) and now Scott provide much more than just having a bite to eat or a few beers while serving outside, its good food with an enjoyable easy-going atmosphere. After a little fine tuning in the first few years, not a lot has really changed since and why change a winning formula! Helpfulness, good banter and good food consistency go hand in hand. Many customers have been returning from the day it opened and would class themselves as friends. We just got back from 10 days in Fuengirola, I have big Thank You's to make, 1 in the fantastic weather but the biggest thank you is to Scott and co at Scoffers, fabulous food, very friendly staff, and amazing welcome from Scott, after 30 years on the road I think I know a good breakfast when I have one and Scoffers top the lot, if your a British holiday maker in Fuengirol don't even look for another place to eat, please don't be taken in by the breakfasts available for a few Euro's less in other places, I left half my food in those places and the wife has never know me to leave food. Just Back from 10 days in Fueingorola....weather brilliant....what I do want to emphasis is that we found the last few times a restaurant that goes out of their way to do everything and anything to make everyone have a fantastic night out....The name is SCOFFER'S....Scott and his beautiful daughter are so warm and friendly even went out of their way to prepare my son (Brian's)meal beforehand by special order....which which thoroughly appreciated....Thank you so much Scott and family.....So please everyone looking for a fabulous home cooked meal away from home then give SCOFFER'S a visit you definitely won't be disappointed.....Joan...
