My wife and i called into this pub 21/9/2017..there was footie on and a number of men round the telly as you would expect.so we went to sit at a table with 4 chairs the owner came over and quite brash ask were we in for food..yes i said so he showed us to a table for 2 under a tv at which i said no thanks..he said the tables for 4 have to be kept free (a number were) i said its ok we.ll go elsewhere to which he replied ok sit at a table for 4..we had a great value meal but sitting watching the owner do the same with other couples it wasnt nice..one couple wanted to watch a fight on the screen and another member of staff asked them were they wanting food..yes was the reply..that staff member passed our table muttering..food yes,probably a chip fs..we watched the owner moving a table that to pensioners were at as he didnt like the way it was sitting ..no class..i asked for our bill that the owner basically threw it on the table and i said to him id been watching him and he should look at his customer attitude as he was being ignorant in my view...then another bloke came over and asked was i complaining and when i told him he said the owner had also been ignorant to him and his pal and that he wouldnt be back..im sorry having to give this sad review but the fact is that its a true reflection of the one and only time we...

So I’ve dropped a star as they got my daughters order wrong as she wanted rice not chips and they gave my husband carling instead of San Miguel …. However despite how ‘rough and ready’ it looks the food is delicious. We ordered the 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for €25 and my daughter ordered chicken in peppercorn sauce and rice. Whilst the food wasn’t fancy it was delicious!! The prices were cheap and the staff despite being rushed off their feet and obviously struggling due to how busy they were, were polite and helpful. So I would rather have knocked off half a star for the mistakes.

Went back again and the service was dreadful! More staff were serving and they forgot our order as apparently to quote the waitress the ‘chef was doing them out of order and Willy nilly’ Our wine cooler wasn’t cold and it was so dirty, it looked like it had never been washed. Whilst it isn’t the restaurants fault that we were outside and the people at the next table were chain smoking the tables were so close all we ate was their second hand smoke. We ended up just leaving. After a 40 minute wait and being told it would only take 15 minutes to do our order … which we didn’t believe and the place looking like chaos we decided it would be quicker to...

Visited here on two different days, first day just for a pitcher of sangria, sangria was delicious and good price but the waiter was quite rude when taking the order and bringing the pitcher. We liked the prices there, so we went to eat there the following day. Wasn’t a good idea. First waiter to take the orders was fairly nice, when she brought us our drinks, i noticed that the diet coke was like water. No fizz, no bubbles, nothing, just black sugary water. Well i told the waiter this nicely when she brought us mayo/ketchup, she just sort of snapped at me saying ’its diet coke, it is like that’, i said that no way, she answered with an snap again with ’Its always served like that’ and just walked away without giving me opportunity to maybe switch the drink or say something back, she wasnt taking no shit apparently. Well end of story, steak and salad was ok, steak was cooked through altough i said medium, but it was good nevertheless. Prices were low so would recommend on that part, but the waiters and staff and customer service is so bad that i would skip this place. Great advertisement for British people and...
