A very rude girl at the counter. Yesterday I asked for a menu on paper (I can't see it on my phone without glasses), and in response I got go to the table and the waiter will bring you! The tone and the way to say it was not just not polite, but rude. The waiter was taking an order from a large company at that time. No one approached me to take zakz 40 (!!!) minutes, to my friend 1 hour (!!!). I can always understand when employees are busy, and I always try to make their work easier, but it's not allowed to be openly rude and it's not professional. It's not difficult to reach out and give a menu. OK, you're busy, or your hands are dirty, then tell the waiter to come over if he wasn't attentive. P.S. Your menu is not suitable for people with poor eyesight. It is written in small print, which is difficult to read, and the structure of the information is chaotic, I could not read anything yesterday, I had to ask the waiter to help me with the order. (the second star for him). It is very good that now there are wonderful places in Gijon where you can go instead...
Read moreOn a purposeful trip to Gijon to try the three coffee shops that made it to a specialty coffee app. The initial impression was very high as the bean hopper had all the details of the variety. After ordering an americano, they brought a basic brewed coffee. Then, they had to be instructed on how to properly make an americano. They promptly brought the correct drink. It is unforgivable not to know how to make an americano at a place that claims to be a specialty coffee shop. This is a common drink outside of the EE.UU (as they don't know proper ratios there). Fabulous coffee when they get the drink right! Edit: After speaking with them, they said they call a brewed coffee americano and a americano maqina a normal americano. The owner is of latin america and it might have to do with that but I've never seen their distinction. Maybe getting less creative on...
Read moreTo be honest, I really like this café because they have a LOT of vegan and vegetarian options, and the food can be really good. The issue is that the food isn't consistent. I've gone a few times and sometimes it is amazing and sometimes it is bad. Sometimes the food is missing multiple ingredients that are listed on the menu but they charge the same price. Sometimes the drinks are very sweet and sometimes they aren't sweet at all. There is a complete lack of consistency. Also, the service can be very slow. I'm guessing they are understaffed or something. It is unfortunate because I don't think it is meeting...
