La Pedra — Restaurant in Girona

Ever since we ate here we've been comparing the patatas bravas to this place and no-one has matched it! Lovely potatoes and a big serving of two sauces. We had a couple of beers in the afternoon with patatas bravas, calamari and mozzarella sticks/croquettes. Loved the first two and wouldn't get the mozzarella sticks again but that's personal taste (not lovers of croquettes). A local place, wanted to go eat tapas there with 4 of us, because of the reviews.

The owner or waiter, was not interested from the start. We asked if its possible to eat, his reponse was. Yeah you can inside, no one was sitting inside because of the great weather.

We waited for a bit outside and suddenly a table became free. We asked the owner if we can sit there, his response was a quick no while serving beer to the table next.

Place wasn’t busy. Staff ignored me when I stood at the counter for attention. Boisterous (friends of staff) arrived and pushed past me without apologising and got immediate attention from staff joking. I was still ignored. No acknowledgement at all.
