Discovering “Espresso Mafia” in the heart of Girona has been a highlight of my cycling training here. This sleek, modern coffee shop has quickly become my go-to spot, not just for its exceptional coffee but for the vibrant atmosphere that captures the essence of Girona’s cycling community.

At Espresso Mafia, every cup of coffee is crafted with precision and care, using the finest beans that are roasted in-house. The result is a perfect espresso every time—rich, flavorful, and just the right amount of kick to start the morning or recharge after a long ride. Their selection of pastries and light bites, always fresh and delicious, complements their beverages perfectly, offering a satisfying treat for any time of the day.

What sets Espresso Mafia apart, though, is its commitment to being a hub for cyclists and coffee lovers alike. The walls adorned with cycling memorabilia and the friendly, welcoming staff create a sense of belonging. It’s a place where stories of the road are shared over the hum of the espresso machine, connecting locals and visitors from around the globe.

As someone from Montreal who cherishes both cycling and quality coffee, Espresso Mafia has been an integral part of my Girona experience. It’s more than a coffee shop—it’s a community, and I look forward to...

In the heart of an ancient city, where the cobblestone whispers tales of yore, there lies Espresso Mafia Cafe—a bijou coffeehouse that could very well be the Holy Grail for coffee aficionados. Venturing into this establishment on a recommendation is akin to discovering a secret society, one where the bean is king and its subjects, the owners, devote themselves to the sacred art of roasting. These coffee alchemists toil with a zeal that borders on the fanatical, ensuring each bean releases its fullest potential.

Beware, though, for word of this sanctum has spread far and wide, attracting hordes of tourists and locals alike, all eager to pay homage. The pilgrimage may require patience, as queues snake out the door, a testament to the treasures that await within.

Once inside, the reward is as rich as the coffee they brew. The ambience is nothing short of enchanting, nestled beneath the arches of a medieval edifice, allowing one to sip on their meticulously crafted beverage whilst being cradled by history itself. The coffee, oh the coffee! It's a symphony of flavors so profound, each sip feels like uncovering ancient secrets, long hidden within the...

ESPRESSO MAFIA was a 'must-go' for me when I came to Girona as I heard a lot about it. But I wanted to know myself if it's that good - yes it is :-)

Super nice Café with very clean and friendly designed interior. Everything is kept in white and gold and feels very comfy.

The staff been super friendly as we took several photos of the place and had a lot of chats about the Café, Girona and the area.

Coffee - the reason we came there. Choose your beans and get it perfectly made. Really enjoyed the coffee there. How is the taste? The coffee has a nice aroma with a fruitiness to it.

You can also get a Cold-Brew or a 'Cascara' which is a tea made out of dried coffee cherries. That's coffee passion I would say. Definitely a place for...

This is the best espresso I have had for a long long time. I knew nothing about this little gem before arriving in Girona, but smelled the coffee as I walked past, and returned a few minutes later. I had a double espresso and it was just as I try to make at home. Fruity and smooth and delicious. As I left I noticed that they roast their own coffee right next door, and I later learned that the shop was set up by an ex-pro cyclist as a spin off from the highly rated La Fabrica. Now, if anyone knows their coffee it is a pro-cyclist. I returned today for a cortaldo and a gigantic piece of chocolate cake. The cake and coffee were both excellent. I would love to take this place home with me.
