Nice premises and decor. The male manager was polite, apologetic and professional, who tried to fix the bad service the South American unfriendly, unprofessional waitress provided (that's the reason I give 3 stars and not 1). As a party of 5, 3 pizzas were served unexpectedly fast, one was raw in the middle. We waited for our 2 other pizzas to be served in a couple of minutes. 15' later no sign from them, we asked the male manager for the missing pizzas, told him about the raw pizza and a missing bottle of water we had ordered when we first arrived. He was very efficient, apologized and delivered a good service. One of our friends had not finished her pizza when the waitress was asking for desserts. She got crossed when we pointed we hadn't finished. The waitress was the only reason we didn't enjoy our experience. There is a bad work atmosphere among the staff. Maybe our waitress was being pushed by a senior staff, regardless it is not an excuse to be unfriendly with the customers. The pizzas were fine, not the best pizza I've...
Read moreWhat a terrible experience, the place looked great from the outside and we were up for some comfort food. Went in and ordered a pasta dish for each of us but the server messed up and brought 1 dish for the both of us. That wouldn’t have been bad if it wasn’t that it took more than 1 hour to bring us pasta! And to top that when it arrived it was cold and was a single block of noodles with the sauce dried in the bottom like the pasta was a leftover from yesterday. We asked the server to change it for a pizza instead… how could the mess it up? We have seen the pizza pass by our table over and over for the last hour and surprise they did mess it up. It was the saddest pizza we had ever tried. We complained to the server and she told us that it was a holiday and that they were caught by surprise and the kids were out of school…really that is the excused?...
Read moreWe did not have a good experience with this restaurant in Girona. We visited the same restaurant in Platja D’Aro and had the most wonderful experience with great food. However not at this particular branch in Girona. My husband went to get a takeaway, and they did not treat him well. They asked him to stay outside of the restaurant when the food was being prepared, and were very inhospitable in their mannerisms and talking. They were more interested in other customers who were just walking in, rather than addressing the questions of my husband who was standing there placing an order. I do not agree with such treatment to a paying customer. All that said, the food itself was not upto standards as what we expected from our experience at Platja D’Aro. We wish they treat everyone equally well and treat all customers alike. Highly...
