Cafetería Nueva Estación — Restaurant in Granada

Despite appearances, unfortunately a very bad experience.

I asked for a tortilla and a carrot juice. After 10 mins on a slow day as the waitress was smoking beside me with her friends.

I then received a sangria I did not order. I politely let her know I had for a carrot juice. 10 mins later a stale tortilla arrive that was half cold, half warm and excessively chewy arrived. It seemed like it was made from a frozen precooked box.

Then the “carrot juice” arrived. I was relieved, at least the right color. But after 1 sip I quickly thought “oh god” as it was more or less sugar water without any discernible taste of carrot and I could feel the individual grains of sugar enter my mouth and brush against my teeth. I finished my frozen food section tortilla and politely let them know that the “carrot juice” was completely undrinkable but I’ll pay anyways. Then they blamed me for “wasting” a sangria I didn’t order and said, despite me offering to pay for the juice, that they’re gonna charge me for it anyways. Sure.

Complete waste of 9€ and...

Entré para tomarme un té Matcha previa pregunta si tenían, y me dicen que sí pero q lo mezclan con otro tipo de té ( pensé que sabrían hacerlo), debería de haberme ido en ese momento pero le di un voto de confianza. ERROR Acepté y me senté. Me sentí bastante violenta porque me lo hizo una segunda vez al ver q la leche seguía blanca … Luego empezó a explicarme lo que era el matcha y como lo hacía y ahí ya aluciné hasta el punto que sentí que ella solita se estaba dejando en evidencia, era en plan chica no tienes ni idea, mejor no inventes porque es ridículo! Y además mi cara escuchando esas tonterías 🤣Bueno que ni por asomo era te matcha, era leche con otro té de hierbas (el matcha es la pulverización de la hoja, ya te lo escribo para que al menos así, sepas de lo que se trata lo que estabas intentando venderme)y le dije, educadamente, cuando fui a pagar (porque no lo consumí y al menos tuvo la delicadeza de no cobrarme) que hubiera preferido que me diga que no tiene té matcha, así de simple, en lugar de hacerme creer que eso es un té matcha, cuando es algo q conozco perfectamente. No aceptó nada bien la crítica y delante de todo el mundo y comenzó a gritar a modo vete de aquí “ que tengas un buen día”. Súper maleducada y cero profesional, salí de allí además de que por un momento sentí vergüenza por ella, abochornada por la situación. Solo quisiera resaltar que no saben hacer te matcha y que sinceramente, deberían al menos aprender hacerlo para si quieren vender la moto, al menos hacerlo de una forma más profesional. Y en su propia respuesta queda reflejada y retratada ella misma. Aceptar que no se sabe hacer algo y aprender a hacerlo es una virtud. Engañar a la gente y gritar a modo de defensa es bastante lamentable en un...

Not a great experience. They wouldn't let me order inside so I had to wait outside to ask for a menu so I could wait again to order. 🙄 The menu was just a bunch of loose papers stuffed in a plastic sheet making it difficult to read them. Then finally when I ordered they said they had what I wanted and they didn't actually. So after 10 minutes I eventually had to go inside and order like I wanted to in the first place....
