Very awful dining experience! Don't go inside! I was really excited because my friend recommended me this restaurant. Before going inside, I already saw the picture from other clients left (picture 1 I attached), and so I asked the waiter (by showing him picture 1) what is this dish? The waiter hesitated for maybe 5 sec, and I asked is this pork rib? He said, yes it is, so I ordered it. But then my food is picture 2... I called the waiter and asked do these two seem the same to you? (I was thinking, what the hell, one is with potato, and the other is with fries... )And you know what, the staff said yes they are the same!!!!! Also, the staff emphasized that: it is what it is. "You" ordered it! Clearly the staff not only know nothing about the meal they serve, lack the ability to judge from photos, and also tried to force customer accept the staff's fault. Plus the rib is quite expensive and not even tasty, so dry and no flavor due to no sauce. I really regret dining in this restaurant. Terrible experience ruin my first day in Granada. ----update, reply to your reply---- You keep lying, that's fine. I show the picture to 2 staff. One is very young, he even told me he's new to this restaurant and so he didn't know clearly about your meal. The other one who makes mistake is an old guy with...

A bit of a disappointment considering all the other good reviews. Felt like we weren't treated the same as other customers. Octopus leg came burnt at the bottom and end, cod was salty and not much other flavour. Compared to 5 other places we have eaten in granada the flavour here is lacking and the price is way higher. The service is also odd changing between cold to courteous then back to cold again. When we were waiting to pay, the staff member didn't confirm the amount she entered on the card machine and reached over to tap it on our card upside down so we couldn't see the screen, 2 things are wrong with that: #1 the customer has to see the amount first to check its correct, #2 the customer has to tap their card themselves when they are ready. You need to have a lot of faith to be okay with that, imagine she entered the wrong amount by mistake and you wouldn't even know what you were charged until you check your account later! Luckily it was the correct amount but it's just a really strange...

Undercooked Fish, Unjustifiably High Prices.

The fish and octopus dish I ordered was severely undercooked and could taste jelly part of seafood, making it difficult and frankly unpleasant to eat. For a restaurant charging high prices, such a basic cooking mistake is unacceptable. The flavors and texture also lacked refinement, falling far short of expectations.

And this restaurant pick and choose customers when you order drinks some get free tapas as complimentary some people are not getting anything which I found odd.

What made matters worse was the unprofessional and rude behavior of a female waitress. She displayed a clear lack of basic service etiquette and courtesy which made the dining experience uncomfortable from start to finish.

Given the high prices, poorly prepared food, and subpar service, I would not consider returning.

Wonderful restaurant with friendly and helpful wait staff, some of whom speak English. The pork ribs were very good, though a tad salty (I like salty, though). The portion was way too much for one person (like 12 ribs). Buy it and share it with someone. Get the grilled bread. It has about 12 slices. Six are drizzled in olive oil, and the other six had this spicy tartar sauce on them that was really delicious. Also, try the grilled asparagus and mushrooms. They were good but low on the seasoning. Other items those in our party enjoyed were the house burger (with ham on it), the tataki steak, and the grilled chicken thigh. All were good. For dessert, we recommend the cheesecake and Tocino de cielo. Both were yummy. Suggest you make reservations to guarantee a table.

We had an unforgettable meal at Casa Gabriel! Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious—the spinach salad with burrata was fresh and creamy, the huevos rotos were rich and perfectly runny, and the pork ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender. A word of advice: The portions are huge! We ordered three dishes for two people and could’ve easily skipped one—we left stuffed (but happily so). The quality of the ingredients and bold flavors made every bite worth it. What truly stood out was our server, a genuinely kind and attentive man who made us feel welcome. His recommendations were spot-on, and his warmth added to the charm of this cozy spot. If you’re in Granada, don’t miss this gem—just come hungry!
