Stopped by for lunch at El Ladrillo today on recommendation from my brother, who had eaten there previously. We were not disappointed. The service is fast, friendly, and effective. We were served by Nahuel and Juanjo, who immediately identified that we were English and provided us with menus in English as our Spanish is pitiful! They both spoke impeccable English. Beer and Sangria were served in moments while we perused the menu. Tapas of chicken wings in a fantastic sauce was a welcome addition. We finally opted for a Spanish omlette, tomatoes, grilled Sardines, and a half "fish boat" (a fried fish platter). It was generous for three hungry people. The tomatoes, seasoned with herbs and garlic, olive oil, and salt on the side to add to taste, were delicious and flavoursome. The Spanish omlette was cooked to perfection. Buttery and soft, salt to add to taste. Would have been delicious on its own, but the grilled Sardines were fantastic, with crispy skin you didn't need to debone. The fried fish was my favourite, squid, cooked perfectly, soft, coated in crispy batter. Difficult to get right, but they have it mastered here! Whole small white flesh fish... hake, I think, it didn't matter... beautiful. Prawns, again, no need to peel, head off, down in one. Great coffee to finish. Couldn't fault, 5 star and highly recommend. Will be returning next time we are in Granada for sure! Thank you to the team at...

Read moreThis great little hidden (from most tourists) gem was recommended to us by a local fellow we chatted up in the city center. ¡Gracias, Antonio El Conejo! Great neighborhood vibe, amazing paella, the best salmorejo I’ve had so far, and impeccable, friendly service. This is a family affair and you can tell they are having fun running a fabulous eatery. Highly recommend! You won’t have a view of the Alhambra, but if you’ve played your cards right you’ve toured it already and can stroll to El Mirador de San Nicolás in a few minutes after your meal to look...
