This is my 2nd visit to Spain . On our 1st visit, I spent days going from shop to shop in Madrid, Barcelona, Seville and Granada . I was interested in buying authentic Andalusian pottery and I could not find one that I liked . This time my host suggested I visit Alyarrar. Unfortunately our trip to Granada got cancelled and we were leaving Madrid the next day, I was heartbroken. Sebastian came to the rescue and send me pictures of all he had but two items which caught my eye were sold out. Sebastian offered to reproduce them for me but was honest and said he could not promise me anything. A few days later I have the pieces in my hands. I am just ELATED & Speechless. We were a bit intimidated by the doorbell at first, but we pressed it and were immediately welcomed in with such warmth. The owner took the time to patiently explain the process behind their ceramics and highlight key pieces — you can tell how much care and craftsmanship goes into every item.

All the works were absolutely stunning. I originally had no plans to buy anything since I was just accompanying my friend, but I ended up leaving with two beautiful pieces! This is truly one of the best ceramic shops in Granada — authentic, personal, and filled with gorgeous, high-quality art. Highly recommend...
