Cafe Flashpoint — Restaurant in Granadilla de Abona

We have been visiting this place since 10-12 years. The service is getting worst and worst. The last point was me before yesterday, when I asked for 2 beers and 2 coffees. The bar was half empty. No people standing at the bar. So easy time for the staff. I Was waiting about 10 minutes. During this time the waitresses were talking around and playing with a dog of a client, talking to people outside.

I was aksing that what is about my order, they told that is in progress. And if I want, I can help inside. It was not like a joke but more a sarcastic answer that I should not urge them

She said the she see that the the coffee is being made. I waited again 5-10 minutes. Nothing happened. Than I asked again. She said it is still in progress. And still was playing with a dog at the pedestrian walk.

I was quite unsatisfied waiting 15-20 minute's for 2 beers and 2 coffew so I stood up and looked at the bar. The beer was on the plate, and its foam was down already.

So I aksed if I can get my drinks. She started to talk Italian to the college and complaining about me. I understood...

Thank you for the nice care after many years of visiting this bar. You don't deserve it anymore.

It had a good location, nice menu but having a chaotic and rude service. Even if I was a frequent guest with tips 10-15% every time. That will never happen again.

Shocking service (a tall blonde waitress is the leader) . Everyone is friendly enough when you don't bother them. You ask some extra ice for your drink and you can get in trouble. If they forget something and you patiently remind them be ready for nasty looks - how dare you! The main courses aren't delivered all together. You can get some, and the others might receive theirs when half of the table has already finished with their lunch. The spot is great and the atmosphere is relaxed. But some people are still at work and need to be switched on. El Flashpoint fue desde hace (nada más ni nada menos!) 13 años mi bar preferido en En Médano, donde siempre llevaba amigos que vinieron a visitar la isla o chicos de Workaway para hacérselo conocer, a parte de ir sola siempre cuando me fue posible. Y qué horrible decepción me llevé hoy cuando fui y me encontré con un cambio de propietario, de estilo (ahora ya no colorido y alternativo, si no más elegante, pero eso es cuestión de gusto) y sobre todo de TRATO: Había olvidado mi móvil en el coche y así no tuve internet. Ya al entrar preguntando si disponen de WiFi (en en Flashpoint de antes no había) se me respondió de forma arrogante y poco amable "claro!!". Nada más haberme sentada y pedido un café, el mismo chico de la entrada con cola y barba me hacía entender que no me podía quedar aquí 2 horas, y todo eso también en plan chulesco y sin ninguna amabilidad. Puedo entender que seguramente hay personas que se aprovechan del wifi, toman sólo una bebida y luego se quedan eternamente. Pero en este caso el bar debería reaccionar a un comportamiento así y no ya de entrada amargar un cliente que está preguntando por el wifi y un café. Es de mala educación, me hizo sentir fatal, presionada de tal manera que ya no pude disfrutar de un agradable ratito antes de tener que seguir con mis obligaciones. También entiendo que haya más interés en llenar las mesas con gente que pide y paga por comida para tener ingresos mayores, pero no puedes tratar así a un cliente que quiere tomar un café. Y luego encima se fue sin darme la clave del WiFi.. No me funcionó el WiFi porque no había entendido bien que la red no se llama "Flashpoint" como el bar, si no hay una red aparte para clientes y aunque acudí a dos personas diferentes, no había ninguna actitud ni disposición de ayuda, ni les vino a la mente que hay la posibilidad que uno se equivoca de red porque hay dos ("Flashpoint" y "Flashpoint Clientes"). La clave escrita en una hoja de papel estaba escrita en mayúscula, mientras se tenía que escribir en minúscula. También me sorprendió que no se decía nada cuando entraron dos chicas únicamente vestidas con un bikini y un chico con el torso desnudo.
