Playa San Juan, a small harbour with an elegant restaurant on the promenade. The "Marsala", beautiful inside with dark wood, clean and neat interior. The menu also shows a French style. Like the roasted, fresh duck liver, for example. My Carpaccio (Carpacho) was unfortunately served very cold and therefore rather worthless in consumption. The "Paella del Mar" was unfortunately not richly garnished with seafood. The service personnel was neutral and unobtrusive. The music in the restaurant is of course pure taste. I would have preferred something like "Cafe del Mar". Conclusion: concerning the craftsmanship, I see from 0 to 10 an 8 and concerning the price level a 7. A further visit is currently not planned.
Read moreJanuary 2022 it was Delicious! The Tapas is extraordinary good, very well made, everything really fresh with excellent taste. Compliments to the chef Roberto! Now in 2024 we went to the new location of MarSala in San Juan to have again a delicious lunch. We had great starters with the grilled cheese and duck carpaccio. Both with exquisite flavors. As main course we had the mixed paella. This took about half an hour as this is also fresh made and prepared while we enjoyed our starters. The paella was really tasteful and filled with meat, fish and lobster. The dessert was the delicious South American quesillo! All accompanied with really delicious local white wine proposed by the owner who served the meals and kept our glasses full. Again a superb lunch we had with our friends...
Read moreWe thought, due to the good reviews that the restaurant is good. Startes full of pepper. Simply too much. Main course was the special of the day. Cherne (fish) with vegetables. The fish was cold and half raw. And a good layer of pepper. They changed it and the new dish was good. The waitress tried her very best. The atmosphere is ok and very nice other guests. Two person. 100 EUROS. Maybe the cook simply had a bad day but wasted a nice...
