Restaurante La Lonja — Restaurant in Guía de Isora

We ordered a frappaccino and a beer from this establishment...no food but have given 3 stars as others looked nice. It is a lovely bar with beautiful sea views. However (like many before us) we found the service to be very slow indeed. When we asked for the bill we were ready to leave. Unfortunately no bill was forthcoming and we tried to get the attention of the waiters again to no avail. Regretfully after being ignored for about 15 minutes we decided to leave having not paid and this knee jerk reaction we regret. We have returned to England now but would urge the owners to contact us..... i tried to phone the restaurant before our departure home but received no answer. We intend to settle the bill one...

I should have read the reviews before visiting. Took ages just to get the beer. If there was no cold beer it would be a 0 star restaurant. After 45 minutes we received the mediterean salad which was tasteless and with poorly cut vegetables. Spaghetti with seafood were very far from a highlight, tasteless and almost none sea food. The spaghetti bolognese were overcooked and there were neither onions in the sauce nor meet in it. It was probably only pomodoro passata from microwave. Forget about cheese, was not brought even when you ask for it. We spent another 30 minutes to get them understand they can't charge the bolognese. Oh yeah, and the Sunshades are dirty with...

We arrived at around 4pm, waited 30 minutes for a waiter for drinks and were then told they weren't serving food!!! We asked tthewaiter several times and watched other people around us getting menus and food! We asked another waiter who served us and gave us a menu. Out of curiosity we asked the first waiter why he wouldn't serve us food but he just laughed we discovered he's Ukrainian and unfortunately couldn't understand us! What a joke!
