Restaurante Casablanca — Restaurant in Guardamar del Segura

We've been using this bar/ brasserie since April this year. We normally stop off either for breakfast or a spot of lunch after a few hours on the beach. We take family when they stay with us. So I suppose we visit 3 times a month, so about EUR 220 per month spend.

Their service is often hit and miss which is surprising as they employ a number of people some better than others. Tables away from the centre should be avoided as they receive the least attention. Empty plates are slow to be cleared and are quite often still there when the next course arrives.

Today we ordered Paella for two plus a meal each for another 2. We know the wait is normally 25 minutes for the paella but expect the food to arrive at the same time, basic stuff.

Anyhow they served our guests Paella to a couple of men next to us and then served the 2 other meals to us. 25 or 30 minutes later another paella turns up, it wasn't until I had challenged them they they admitted they'd made an error.

No offer to reduce the bill, I'll not be using them again as although the season is only half way through they've already lost interest in delivering positive outcomes...

Ordered 1 vegan burger & 1 classic burger. Waiter delivered food, holding 1 plate up & said "Vegano". My cousin held her hand up & said yes pls, so he gave her the plate & me the other one. Began eating our food, only to discover the waiter had got the plates mixed up. So, after 50 years of not eating meat, my cousin has now eaten beef (a small amount obviously, as we realised the mistake quite quickly). We appreciate it was a genuine mistake, so did not hold a grudge, but did point out the mistake & sent our meals back. However, the staff did not seem bothered by their mistake & expected us to pay full price for food we neither ordered nor ate. Their attitude was very poor & they really couldn't understand why we were not happy. Eventually, they agreed to charge 25€ instead of 41€, but then had a rethink & charged 27.30€. On our last day of our holiday in spain 13 October 2018 , we where on the beach adjacent to the restaurant, looked like perfect way to finish the day off we had half size mussel starters , the menu has pictures of the meal and the price in euros , when we seen sea bass with €19 next to the picture , we both had sea bass with 2 veg that was included , when we got the bill the price had gone up to €24 each , when I inquired was told by the waitress that the €19 was for frozen and they had to charge another €5 because the fish was fresh just caught in the morning , becouse my wife kept insisting it was not stated that the fish was fresh she gave us €10 back no apologies , the was ok but expensive , but to try and...
