Sky Bar — Restaurant in Guardamar del Segura

We went in to the hotel and we sit downstairs after we got our drink then we were told by the waitress that they was a bar upstairs so we decided to go and have a look so we went up in the life and it was a roof top bar, so we went to sit down when the waitress at the bar started pointing aggressively to the ground so not knowing what she was on about we just looked at each other then she came over and told us we needed to back downstairs as we have drinks and they were not allowed up on the roof bar unless we got them from there, we were not told this downstairs but the aggressiveness was shocking from the waitress so went down to ask and yes it wasn’t allowed but the attitude of this women was bang out of order you would of thought I had just bottle from our bag but we were told to go back up but if we wanted another drink it have to be purchased from the bar upstairs which we checked out as double the price we just paid downstairs but after or drinks we just left as the attitude was very bad and made us very uncomfortable as she was keep watching us after going on the phone once we came back up you would think we have bottle of vodka or we committed a crime. We will not be back as live in Guardamar and make sure our family who have stayed in this hotel do not again.

My mum’s review: Was at the Sky Bar a few weeks ago and had a great time. Fabien (I think that is how you spell his name); was fantastic. He knew what cocktail I liked as well as my husband’s Steven’s drink. He made us feel special and at home every time he were there. Wanted to review our experience a few weeks ago, but couldn’t get into the site. One of our children helped us. Great bar with excellent views! Staff are lovely and always polite and helpful. Definitely worth a visit especially in the evening as the sun is setting as the view is great! Only disappointment was having to wait 35 minutes to get to the roof due to the queues for the lift and only having one lift and then it took about 20 minutes for our drinks after ordering them.
