Restaurante La Caballeria — Restaurant in Guardamar del Segura

I visited Steak House (La Caballería) with outdoor seating – with a view all the way down to the sea – and that was truly a big part of the experience.

The best: The steak was perfectly cooked. Seasoned just right and prepared exactly as requested – which is crucial for a steakhouse, and they delivered. The side dishes were also very good – everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. It gives a solid overall impression when not only the steak shines but also what comes with it. Service felt good, the food arrived in a reasonable time, and the atmosphere was relaxed.

What could be improved: The menu included “everything,” but one thing I missed: a sauce was not included. For the price you pay, you typically expect at least one sauce to be part of it – that would lift the experience if it were standard. The price level is not super cheap (understandably, given the quality), so expectations are also higher. It’s worth it – but small details like including a sauce can make the difference.

Overall impression: All in all, it was a really good experience, and I look forward to coming back to try more of their steaks. Atmosphere, quality, and taste come together here, and with just a few small adjustments it could be...

I cannot express how amazing it was to return to this restaurant, we first visited last August and it left a lasting impression on us , and our return on Friday did not disappoint at all . The memories of the location smells and flavours came flooding back upon entering the sea view terrace . The staff were absolutely amazing speaking both English and Spanish . When the food arrived presented like a Michelin star plate , I had the steak on the set menu that was cooked to perfection my partner had the salmon that was outstanding . I will say we are both foodies and I have never experienced such perfect in every detail . To finish we had the flan and the cheesecake OMG we had the cheesecake the first time and it was in our dreams for weeks after and to say the memories of the mango gel/puree that explodes on your tongue will be dreams for weeks again , but we won’t be waiting long as we plan to make this a regular visit while here in Spain...

We arrived in Spain last evening and were looking for a place to eat with the kids, as most restaurants were already closing. Luckily, we found La Caballeria, and it was a great choice!

The staff and owner were incredibly welcoming, and the owner’s perfect English made everything easy. The kids' meals came out quickly, and we enjoyed some delicious empanadas and a burger. The empanadas were perfectly crispy, and the burger was juicy and flavorful—though a slightly more toasted bun would have made it even better. Overall, everything tasted great, and we left feeling very satisfied.
