Our favourite restaurant during our visit, we visited 3 evenings out of our 4 night stay in Haria. We booked each time and recommend doing so as it's popular. Great menu choices and a specials board. Plenty of local wines to choose from.  Service was also very good.  Our first visit we had Yaiza dry white wine. Asian prawns to start which smelt and tasted great.  There is a lot of oil in the dish and it comes out bubbling. There's leeks and prawns in a curry like sauce.  Loved it.  For main we tried Slow cooked lamb. Plenty of meat and aldente vegetables, cous cous. Probably could've done with more sauce. The Bread hummus, alioli, and salt helped mop up the sauce from the prawns. For our 2nd visit they had a special of Iberico ham bellota. It was prefect served with small breadsticks. I savoured every mouthful of the ham.  Always a winner. For main we had mushroom, iberico ham,  asparagus and parmesan crisp risotto. It was delicious. Perfect in every way.  Earthy mushrooms and rich with parmesan. We shared the Creamy Mango dessert which was mango custard,  Goats milk yoghurt and fruit coulis. It was refreshing and light.  Another bottle of the Yaiza wine. For our 3rd and final visit they had a specialof Goats cheese with smoked sardine. It was presented beautifully but the Goats cheese did lack flavour.  My husband had Asian prawns again... as good as the first time. We had to have the Mushroom, iberico ham,  asparagus and parmesan crisp risotto again.  Equally as good as the previous visit.  A definite favourite. For dessert we shared Shared Textures of Gofio dessert it was very sweet with ice-cream, cream,  almond paste.. a bit too sweet for me.. I don't think I'd order it again.. we shared another dessert which was the Dark Chocolate Coulant which was very good,  rich and oozing centre a zingy sorbet and fruit coulis. I'd order that again for sure. We spent EUR100 for 2 starters, bottle of wine,  bread,  2 mains and 2 desserts. Each dish is well presented and prices are good.  More of a bistro style restaurant that still does local food with a bit of fusion. A real refreshing change.  Really enjoyed it.

Haria is a beautiful village in the north of Lanzarote and is the location of Cesar Manrique's last house. If you have visited the house, you have to go to this restaurant for a drink and some food. The food is a fusion of Asian/Spanish/Italian. We had a parmigiana which was delicious and a glass of Lanzarote white wine that was equally good! It was incredibly cheap for the quality. We had 2 glasses of wine, a main some bread and a coffee for about 16 euros. Much cheaper and better than anything in the resorts. Staff were warm and engaging. Highly recommended!

Food here is amazing! They have really good vegan and vegetarian options which is great. My friends and I were served by a British woman who couldn’t have been more helpful! She recommend a few items on the menu for us too. They have this bread starter that comes with 2 dips and one of them is a wasabi mayo and it was unbelievable!! The chocolate brownie is also insanely good. The place is good value too and the ambiance outside is really nice at night time as they have fire heaters and nice little lights etc. Definitely worth a visit!

We've waited almost an hour to make an order. Waitress came to us only once we've started packing our things. Unacceptable. Update #1 (to owner's reply) Thank you very much for calling your potential customers evil and whatnot, it really shows who is feeling the most guilty about the whole situation. First of all, we haven't noticed any signs on terrace that show it's best to book a table beforehand. Second, we've been approached by the waitress around 15-20 mins after we've sat down to the table. She told us that we have to wait 45 min for order. We agreed, since we thought she meant waiting for food and not for just being serviced. If we knew back then that we'd have to wait 1.5h in total to get our food, we'd just leave and look for other restaurants with no harm done. Third. Yes, two members of our group left about 30 mins to look for other restaurants (since we were very hungry and no one has taken our orders yet), the rest stayed by the table. All in all, we waited more than 30 mins. Fourth. I'm not sure the beginning of October is high season. Even google stated that the time we've been at La Puerta Verde as "low traffic" for your restaurant. Fifth. The most infuriating was when people that came just after us, got their orders before we could make ours. Maybe they booked the table? We haven't noticed any markings on table that would show it's booked. So maybe it's time to revise...

ENGLISH:

La Puerta Verde in Haría was one of the best dining experiences I had in Lanzarote. From the moment we walked in, the cozy, rustic vibe drew us in, but what truly made the experience stand out was the waiter. He was super friendly and knew a lot about local wines, recommending a couple that paired perfectly with our meal. Absolute legend!

We started with the prawns in an Asian sauce, and they were fantastic—flavorful but not too overpowering. Then came the wok of Iberian pork (secreto), which was spot on. The meat was juicy, and the blend of flavors was just amazing. To finish, we had the mango cream dessert, which was the perfect way to end the meal—smooth, refreshing, and just the right amount of sweetness.

All in all, La Puerta Verde is the perfect spot if you're after great food, fresh ingredients, and impeccable service. Plus, the prices are really reasonable for the quality. I'd come back in...
