I lived next to Loretxu for nearly a month, and I can say assuredly that this place is one of the most happening bars in Hondarribia. The food selection, while not extensive, is excellent, and the cañas and zurritos, which refer to the size of draught beer, are a bit larger than many other bars. The service was great, and the crowd is pretty much all local. People gather to watch sports events on the big screen inside or hang out on the patio—with a view of the Bidasoa River just a half block away.
