We went there to celebrate my husband's 70s with friends at the beginning of September. We chose the place because it looked authentic and had good reviews. It is away from all the other restaurants on the main street where all the tourists go. The atmosphere was great. It was packed with Spanish people (a good sign). 4 of us went for fish which was delicious. 2 went for chicken breast which unfortunately were still pink and cold inside. We didn't ask for a replacement, we simply asked for it to be cooked some more. When it came back, it was hotter on the surface but still pink inside. So we didn't eat it. Our polite remark was met with annoyance and bad temper rather than apologies from the waitress. That uncalled for reaction prompted us to refuse to pay for the two chicken. A big shame because all the rest was very good including...

If you’re looking for a place to live the slow life, you should definitely visit here. I got there 8:30pm, so as to have an early dinner and retire early, but I didn’t leave until 11:30pm (don’t ask me why I didn’t just up and leave—I question my decisions too). Between the entrantes and the main dish, took a whole 1hr 30 mins. I really don’t know why!. And in a bid to pacify us, our desserts were on the house. Entrantes -great. The rest dishes, i dunno. You could say my perception of the place and the food was severely affected and you won’t be wrong.

Anyway, if you live a fast paced life in your day-to-day, and hoping to vacation and take things down a notch, wholly recommend this place for you. They have no sense of speed or...

This is the place you go when you want real, authentic, local food. We booked in the afternoon for the evening and forever thankful we did as the place was bouncing by 20:00. We had the clams, mussels and Gambinos to start. The mussels standout as some of the best I’ve ever had: the meat and the sauce. We followed up with a whole turbot with roasted green peppers and fresh tomatoes. Definitely recommend this. For dessert we shared their signature “French toast” with frozen yoghurt. The perfect end to a stunning meal.

Loads more on the menu we wish we could try - next time we come...
