I tried to go here for lunch today with my mum and sister. There were lots of empty tables inside and out. It was recommended to us by someone who lives on the island so we were very excited to go along. When we got there i hung around the entrance to wait to be seated. After a few minutes of waiting I was wondering if they were just very busy, or if I had gained invisibility powers. I tried to catch the attention of several of the staff, some of whom looked me in the eye and then proceeded to ignore my very apparent desire to be seated. I got the attention of one person (because he literally couldn’t walk past me without talking to me) I said: “please could we have a table for 3 people” he replied in Spanish saying he only speaks Spanish and walked away. Okay. So I tried someone else. This waiter in a white shirt ignored me completely. It was like he couldn’t hear me. I then followed him to the bar (again thinking with the benefit of the doubt, maybe he’s just busy) and said “excuse me” a number of times. No response. Eventually I tapped someone on the shoulder (now having been stood very obviously in the middle of the restaurant for over 5 minutes wearing my invisibility cloak) and said “really sorry but is it possible to have a table for 3 people?” He then replied in Spanish to say they were fully booked. There were about 10 free tables and two had reserved signs. I’ve never been treated like that in all my life (and I’ve been to much ruder countries). Not that it should matter, but we were well dressed and polite. Apparently this restaurant decides sometimes that it will only serve Spanish people. I can’t reiterate enough what a horrible experience this was and it made me very upset. If you choose to go here after reading this review you are funding a business that is rude and discriminatory. Go to the very welcoming El Zagun round the corner. You won’t...

The place got lively while we were there but we never felt neglected service wise and when the bill came it was reasonable, even less than what would be considered fair.
You should be eating there, not reading...

My favorite was Frita de pulpo and cerdo. You must make a reservation before a couple of days otherwise you have to wait a long time to get a table. Super...
