Went to this place because menu looked good and so did the reviews. On arrival, restaurant was empty except for two tables. We asked to sit on the balcony area as there was a free table one waiter said yes and another said no there was a reservation for there but one table was about to leave so we could sit and wait. I was excited about this place so I didn’t mind. Seen someone say the service was attentive so assumed it would be nice. After waiting to order drinks I had to stand to get staffs attention. A couple arrive clearly unsure if they will eat here or not, ie, read the menu etc. They get seated in the seat we were told we could not have because of a reservation. However I had called and attempted to make a reservation for two and was told it was not possible. Perhaps they got seated as they were Spanish speakers and we were not, which I don’t mind and completely understand. However we were still waiting to be asked about drinks, eventually waiter comes over and I mention to him that they had gotten the table I had asked about and that I had tried to reserve but was told not to, he has no answer for me, I tell him it’s no problem. Eventually our drinks arrive just a bottle of water and a frozen margarita. The margarita was wayyy too sour (tasted like a pre made mix) (would have been fine if not for everything else) and water. We’re eventually moved to the table we were waiting to finish but we were so disappointed decided would be best to leave after drinks. The water was in their own bottle and tasted like tap water yet I was still charged €2.50 for it. Overall, disappointing. Wouldn’t recommend and definitely did not find the service attentive on a very slow Sunday where there was only maybe 9 customers total including...

I came across Mitch's Bar by chance. After eating there for the first time, I said to myself: "Why should I go anywhere else when the service here is great and the food and drinks taste excellent? I also love Italian food.
The MARGHERITA pizza alone, which I only ordered to take away, was excellent. I have rarely had such a flavoursome tomato sauce on a pizza.
Luca does a great job as restaurant manager. In general, the whole team works hand in hand and is very customer-orientated. The bar is beautifully decorated and if you get the best seat in the restaurant (see picture), you also have a direct perfectly view of the sea.
I also got to know Mitch personally, who provides active support on site on many evenings. I was pleasantly surprised to meet someone who has put so much heart and soul into opening this bar and who also responds to compliments with a great deal of modesty and humility. A down-to-earth attitude is a great popular figure!
The pizzas, the SPAGHETTI CARBONARA and the drink 'GOING NUTS' are a clear recommendation - there are certainly many other dishes that I didn't get to try - but the whiskey sour and the gin drinks are also great!
One negative point: You made it very difficult for me to go out for a decent Italian meal in my home country. Now, I have to try to find a restaurant that makes carbonara anywhere near as good as yours! You need to expand to Germany 😉 and I'll probably have to be back in Ibiza soon... 🤣.
Many greetings to Mitch and the whole team, you guys are...
Read moreAmazing little bar and eatery. This place was next to our hotel and once we discovered it (super welcoming staff invited us in as we passed by), we ate here every single meal thereafter. It was better than everywhere else including the hotel. Amazing pizza, amazing desserts, tasty and creative drink menu. I recommend everyone I know to this place if they want great food, great drinks and staff who offer amazing help.
This place also has a great view of the water and is conveniently located just up some steps from a strip of beach and shopping, which makes it a great pit stop before or after some beach fun. Add to the fact that it's about a 15-20 minute walk from downtown Ibizatown or an even shorter drive, I'd say it's a must visit if yoyou' on the White Isle.
Can't wait for my next visit from Canada...
