L' Acherito — Restaurant in Jaca

December 2024:

We came to have lunch at this restaurant and were overall pleased. Prices are fair for the portions and the food is of good quality; we also liked the presentation.

There are several great vegan options, I'd even say that this is the best place for vegans in Jaca. However, there was no plant milk for coffee.

The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is good. The one thing that stops me from giving five stars is that we had ordered a seitan burger but instead of the seitan it was a vegetable patty.

January 2025:

Second visit to the restaurant, this time for dinner. The falafel & couscous bowl was tasty but the falafel was too salty in my opinion. They still had to plant milk which is a shame.

March 2025: Third visit to the restaurant, last review for now! We tried the vegan black pudding (morcilla vegana) which was delicious. We also had the vegan chocolate and peanut butter brownie ... OMG how good was that! AND they have finally added plant (oat) milk and we could have a coffee, too.

The vegan burger was changed from "seitan" to "vegetable patty" which now fits the description. I really appreciate that this restaurant takes reviews seriously. The food here is very good after all, the service is incredible and the prices are fair. We've now turned into repeating customers at...

My husband and I ate here last night: I had the gyoza bowl and he had the red velvet burger. It was so delicious, I am back tonight to try the falafel bowl. And I will probably be back before we leave to go back home. There's so many other dishes I want to try! The staff are very friendly and helpful and the space is just so modern and gorgeous. They take reservations and if you like to eat dinner later than eight, you should make one. You won't regret it!

La comida es muy buena, especialmente los nachos. El bowl se nos quedó un poco soso de sabor por la lechuga, igual le faltaba algún aliño extra, pero estaba bastante amargo, pero aún así, estaba muy currado y nos lo comimos por los demás ingredientes. Sin embargo, el servicio fue bastante pésimo, especialmente por una tal Moni, que ya la vimos contestando mal y con desganas (suele pasar cuando no están contentos en el trabajo que tienen), pero al pedir postre, y café, nos trajeron los cafés, cosa que nos extrañó que los traigan antes del postre, y a los 10 minutos todavía no habían sacado los postres. Al final nos tomamos los cafés , como ya nos teníamos que marchar, le digo a la camarera que no nos había sacado los postres, y me contesta de mala manera, que ya no había panacota (en ese caso vienes, me dices y elijo otra cosa, como toda la vida de ha hecho, porque estábamos viendo que estaban sacando otros postres a las mesas). Bueno, digo ya está, no pasa nada. Me pasan la nota a pagar, normalmente no miro el ticket porque ya te haces una idea de lo que vas a pagar, pero por la mala contestación y atención, dije, voy a mirar a ver si al menos nos han cobrado bien. SORPRESA!! Nos dejaron tirados sin avisar que no hay postre, nos contesta de mala manera que ya no había, pero si lo había cobrado !! Me pareció muy fuerte y de mal gusto. Me fui bastante enfadado, porque encima del mal trato, si que nos cobraron lo que no nos sacaron. Cosas que pasan, pero lo digo para que miren los tickets la...
