The food: burgers are maybe fine for the Fuerte island and Corallejo (very frequent tourist area), but for that price and advertised meat quality, only to compare, you can get way better 'craft' burgers in some other Spain/EU cities with greater food taxes as it is on Fuerte... This is only a comparison according to the comments of the restaurant staff i am reading under the people's comments, which are mostly hard defending/criticizing other reviews when someone is making a comment about the taste/price of the burger in this place... Other burger bars also have their expenses but they also offer a great meat quality and homemade buns, and they are able to sell them for a better price as well... However, in my case, it felt the 'umami' taste in them. You have a space to make them 'more juicy'. The fries which comes with the burgers were fine.
The staff: maybe my waiter was in a rush or just tired, but the drinks were put on a table without even a simple 'Here you go' or 'aquí tienes' and the burgers also came without any 'enjoy your meal' words... Kind of a feeling 'eat it fast and make a table free for the others'. Also, the drink options were unknown because i did not get any drink card. The table which came a little bit later got a beer card. Maybe you have to ask for it, i do not know... Because of that feeling a lower note. Some other staff guy greeted me as i was leaving the place.
The place itself: bit of a funky vibe, a few tables outside and the burger bar is not on the main street. There is a construction work in front of the burger bar, not that they can do anything about it at the moment.
Conclusion: like with everything in our lives, this is exclusively my experience, give it a try and then make your own... I also came to this bar by reading only the positive comments and it ended not so positive for me. I personally will not give it a second chance, it is not my kind of a...
Read moreDry bun, no sauce in the classic. They were pretty weird about getting some extra toppings in the burger. Waitress had her mind somewhere else the whole time. I had many way better burgers at other places. (Haven't tried other burger places in Corralejo yet.)
For the owner's reply: You couldn't know what kind of customer I was when I sat down, many places that are actually know what they're doing receive great reviews from me. I'm actually very liberal with my reviews in favour of the venues. I worked myself as a waiter before so please don't BS me. There's very few other burger place in the world where there's no sauce in their "classic" burger so maybe you guys need to warn your customers, probably not the 1st person surprised by that. It's just assumed that you put sauce on it. Get real. There are no excuses for totally dry buns. I asked for non stuffed Jalapeños, don't open a burger place if you can't do that, play the piano for a living instead. The waitress didn't say that you buy them already stuffed and don't have just the peppers themselves. Wouldn't have been a problem at all. Thx for the...
Read moreI won’t come back to this place anymore.
Food was good and enough to make you feel full.
The service DESTROYED in few seconds the great experience that we were having: We asked the bill three times, explaining that we needed to leave because of the curfew. (4 tables to manage with 2 waitress) When they were ready, we just asked very politely to split the bill in 3. The answer, given from the lady who was serving us, was so bad that I completely forgot about the good experience and made me want to leave immediately.
I will never come back anymore to this Hamburgueseria because of THAT ANSWER SO UNPROFESSIONAL, WITH A VERY BAD SARCASM, PRETENDING TO MAKE FUN OF US.
ANSWER TO YOUR POST: FIRSTABLE, if you take 20 minutes to split 1 bill by 3 with the POS machine, it’s your problem and not of your customers. So far, I didn’t have any problems with other restaurants. ANYWAY, now I know that I won’t come back for sure because of your approach. Blaming your unhappy customer and not show empathy or apologies, that’s...
