Very classy restaurant inside. Raw meat on display behind a screen to view from the footpath beside the stairway up to the entrance is a nice touch. To start: The bruschetta with tomato, olive oil and basil was perfect. I had bruschetta several times over my week stay in Fuertaventura and this was by far the best. Lightly toasted sour dough slice topped with fresh chopped tomatoes, olive oil, basil and garlic. The combination of flavours worked excellently together and perfectly balanced. Main: I went with the añojo grilled entrecôte (grilled sirloin) after looking up the meaning of añojo which means yearling. The steak was thick, tender and soft as I expected it to be. I asked for medium well but it was slightly rarer, I didn’t mind as it tasted lovely. It came out with sauce on top of it which I would rather have been on the side, it was tasty though and complimented the steak well. There was a decent serving of Mediterranean vegetables on the side along with rice and medium sized chunky chips. Plenty of friendly staff to wait on tables and very polite. Note all the prices shown on the menu are subject to a 7% charge on the final bill.

Read reviews on this place and thought why not give it a chance. I was disappointed to say the least. First of all, we orders drinks and three came out, one was missing for 20 minutes. The waiter was clueless and had to prompt him twice. We ordered our dinner options and I have never been to a steak house where the chefs don’t know which rare type to cook steaks with different thickness. Three of our steaks were asked to be cooked medium rare and another medium. One of them I complained and asked to be cooked for longer as it was blue! There was no communication stating how long it would take and there was no apology. The jacket potatoes are cooked in advance and preheated there and then. No flavour at all. The service is quite bad. Each waiter don’t seem to know what they were doing. We asked for more drinks for the table and it took 25 minutes. At this stage we asked for the bill and stated we weren’t paying for this horrendous service. It’s quite pricey for low quality meat. So I’d recommend going to another steakhouse that actually cares about you and your guests.

Four of us ate here I ordered the rib eye and my Wife and kids opted for the sirloin. Sirloins were quite dry, basically all of them over cooked. All the steaks came with bulk standard chips and roasted peppers and carrot mix , very strange. No sauces or condiments were offered. A rib eye is meant to the eye of the rib , I was served with a whole slice from the rib section, bone included . Whilst my steak looked impressive, it was near impossible to cut it with the blunt steak knife provided ( I had to sharpen my knife before I was just about able to cut through it ) The steak was tasteless and extremely fatty, I imagine more like horse meat than cow. Note to chef “rib eye should be tender, juicy and very flavorful, with just the right amount of fat and as the name suggests THE EYE OF THE RIB! Not the whole slice of a rib section. The chef would benefit from having some cookery lessons and maybe sharpen the steak knives . I would not eat here again.

Food-sickness, Grey steak & Terrible service

Me & my partner had been fancying this restaurant for a few days as it always seemed to look busy in the windows.

When we arrived, we quickly find out that it’s not a busy place - they just place everyone at the windows to make it appear that way. No greeting when we walked in. We said table for 2 & were pointed to the right. We tried to sit at a 2-seater initially, but were told to move to a 4-seater by the window. There were hairs on the table cloth.

The glass I was given for my drink was dirty - I realised this after pouring my drink, and seeing bits floating in the cup.

When ordering food, only medium or well-done options were offered for how we’d like our steaks - Odd. Considering this place is ‘steakhouse’ However, my partner asked if he could order rare, and the server said yes - ironic.

Whilst waiting for our food, we noticed 2 separate tables sending their food back. One table sent theirs back twice.

I ordered the bruschetta & my partner, the smoked salmon for starter. Bruschetta was nice, but came served on a piece of kitchen roll?

The smoked salmon came with toasted bread crusts & pickle/mayo sauce? No more than 15min after leaving the restaurant, my partner became VERY UNWELL and VOMITED once we returned to our apartment.

This is all we ended up eating at the restaurant.

My fillet came completely drowned in sauce (smelt awful), and the meat was grey & spongey.

My partner cut in to his “rare” steak, which was also very well-done. We didn’t touch the food & got the waiter’s attention to explain.

There was no apology & he immediately went to typing in the order again to his machine. We said no, we won’t be re-ordering. The waiter took the food away & we overheard loud shouting from the kitchen.

We paid for what we ate & left. Still, no...

Avoid this place! My partner and I went here for dinner last night and it was very disappointing! When we walked in, they kept moving us… English were put over to one side. The service felt extremely rushed with the waiter basically snatching the menus out our hands when we were finished ordering. When I asked what came with my dish, the waiter was very clueless and muttered something something “potato”…. Odd for a ‘king prawn dish… which by the way, came with 2 king prawns…. Anyways, the food tasted okay, it did come cold though. To try and flag down a waiter was impossible. They would ignore you walking around, especially if you were English. They very much had an attitude problem when talking to you also. But, the absolute worst part of this, when we asked for the bill at the end, waiter came over with biggest smile on his face… they had added extra items on. Obviously, hoping we don’t check the bill and just pay…. £20 of extra food was added onto our bill! After an already bad experience, this sent our blood pressure through the roof. We tried to call over a waiter, took about 10 minutes as they were IGNORING US. After we did, we told them to take the items off the menu that we DID NOT ORDER. His bloody smile dropped then, knowing they hadn’t scammed us out of more money. Took them absolutely ages to get the proper bill back. Then, the new bill… €1-€2 euros were added onto our meals. But we were just so sick of being in that place that we paid and left.

PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE. The staff are more than happy to scam you and will treat you with little respect. There will be loads of other places that you are much...

I had the worst experience at this restaurant in Corralejo. While everyone else in the area has been lovely and friendly, our waiter was extremely rude. We ordered bruschetta, fries, and pizza, but the fries took a whopping 25 minutes to arrive, despite only two other tables having customers. We asked for a change in pizza toppings multiple times, and it seemed like the waiter was getting confused. He still got our order wrong.

When we informed him about the mistake, he just shrugged his shoulders and said he couldn't do anything because he had already told the chef. When I mentioned that I could have been allergic to certain ingredients, he started shouting. His attitude was horrible, and he arrogantly claimed that his restaurant was number 2 in the area. When I pointed out the bad Google reviews, he shouted at me and my husband and even appeared ready to fight. His colleague/another waiter had to pull him back as he got really close to my husband threatening him.

We paid our bill and left, but not before hearing warnings from other customers. The couple before us had a terrible experience, and the couple next to us also said they wouldn't return. This experience reminds us to trust good reviews and avoid places like this. It was the worst dining experience ever, and I cannot recall the waiter's name, but he was a short, slightly darker man with glasses who had no manners and carelessly threw the food and bill at us. If there was a way of putting down a rating in the minus range i would do that as ive never had such a poor...
