Jamonería Caracandado — Restaurant in La Oliva

Lovely fast friendly service. Cleanest toilets I have seen outside of someone's house and the free ladies necessaries are a nice touch. The seafood paella we ordered was pretty big and beautifully presented with prawns, mussels and clams - very tasty. Paella does take about 30 mins but it says this on the menu and the waitress also mentioned this. The sangria with champagne (most likely cava) was different and delicious. We had bread and aioli which was 85c each - nothing! We paid €43 for two people and could barely finish our food! Finished with a little biscuit in a tin after food and then a mini Cornetto ice cream with our bill. Lovely...

Two days ago we visited Jamoneria Caracandado and would like to share our experience. The freshness of the products is truly outstanding, and you can immediately taste the quality of the ingredients used. Every bite is a delight for the palate.

Additionally, we really appreciated the simplicity and warmth of the owner. His friendliness and enthusiasm in presenting the products create a welcoming and genuine atmosphere.

Tucked away on a side street, this is a little gem. We called earlier in the day to book a table and it was waiting for us at the agreed time. We ordered bread and alioli, with green peppers to start, with wine and water. This was followed a while later with seafood paella, with the expected waiting time. The staff were busy but attentive, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The food was fresh and tasty, no complaints whatsoever. We were also given honey rum on the house. Well...
