I went here with high expectations with the high rating reviews. Unfortunately I left very disappointed. We tried the beef and the pork. Both were very bland. The shredded pork was okay but again, lacking flavour.

The beef was bland and tasteless, it was far too soft. The dish had no crunch to it and it was severely lacking flavour. The white sauce it came with did not have enough flavour, the beef was overpowering, yet despite being so bland. You could not taste any of this white sauce unless you ate it separately. This dish would’ve been lovely with a red wine reduction and perhaps a potato gratin, it needed something solid, as it was all mushy, it was unsatisfying and bland, I would definitely not eat it again.

We ordered the chocolate dessert and the cheesecake. The chocolate was lovely.

The cheesecake came in a sloppy mess, and it had no consistency of cheesecake, it didn’t even hold a slice, it was a sloppy pile on the plate. It tasted like smoked cottage cheese, nothing sweet at all. We expressed we did not like it to the waiters, no replacement dessert was offered and we were still charged for this. I could’ve made a better cheesecake at home. Throughly disappointed, I think I enjoyed the local tapas far more than the meal here. Which is a shame, but the food is...

Wow Wow Wow! I tried the Lunch menu ( Each Week they have a New Lunch Menu@ €15 by their 2 chefs - both having a Michelin experience, which makes it a steal for the price ). Exceptional details, and real fresh ingredients. We tried Green Peas with Mint and Pickled Patridge Salad for starters. Stunning creativity. For mains we had the Lonja Fish in Apionado Cream with a hint of Vanilla along with a Creamy Rice with Seaweed & Vegetables which was another surprising delight. Having Michelin experienced chefs clearly reflects in the innovation in the kitchen. The quality in each bite reflected in Platanera´s sustainability and environmentally conscious philosophy, which is what drove us . Definitely coming back for the cocktails and next new menu soon. Thank you for such a wonderful experience and...

Great place for a Sundowner and a meal. We came here regularly for a drink on the rooftop, when COVID allowed there was a DJ. Great staff. We tried the restaurant a couple of times and it was always very good. We always get the croquettes, they are my favourite in the Corralejo. This time we tried the Cote De Boeuf, very tasty, cooked as ordered and seasoned well. The setting has a bit of an upmarket tiki vibe. We were seated on the 1st floor/mezzanine. Nice views from the window outside if you keep your eyeline a little high. They recommended a really nice bottle of wine that I have had each time since, very nice. I highly recommend this restaurant, it's a little pricier than some but...

Great restaurant combined with the best rooftop bar on the island! Watch the sun set while you wait for your reservation then get ready to enjoy the finest cuisine in Fuerteventura. The have gluten free options and the staff are very knowledgeable about the whole menu. Everything is perfectly prepared and you have to try the chocolate three ways, seriously delicious. Recommend booking in advance as they get very busy. Great service great chefs great bar!

The worst first: Pieces of wood with the batter on the shrimps, for two in our group, and the chicken on the Cesar's salad wasn't properly cooked. One of each were finally removed from the bill, which improved this review by one star. Then: the produce is nice, but the final products are lacking taste, no spices, no flavours. There's definitely some leeway for improvement here.
