The Roof Chill out — Restaurant in La Oliva

Unbelievable… Nothing chill here. Not even open and the music starts pumping at 14:30 whilst they test and get ready for 16:00 open, sooo loud. Not even open. So… it’s neighbours have to endure this noise from 14:30 to 00:00 (midnight) everyday, can’t watch tv it’s so loud, can’t go to bed early forget it, the earliest you’ll get to sleep is 1am. By the way the neighbourhood and the rooftop is owned by the same group “Destiny living” I am staying in the hotel next door which yes is also owned by “Destiny Group”

Which says to me that they do not care about anything else but money, they don’t care about you or me, they just care about themselves… Unless you’re desperate I wouldn’t bother dealing with anything “Destiny Group” related, all is just a con, you should their co working space downstairs, what a joke that is.

It's a nice place. Terrace, view, the lounge style and so on. Food is ok to nice. but... BUT: the service is how to put it, absolutely overwhelmed. What a mess. You get drinks, you didn't order and you don't get food you did ordered. You wait for the waiters and waitresses but they constantly ignore you and finally the bill was wrong... Tabels u booked are not where u expect them to be or u just don't get them. The food comes in no order. It's a surprise what u start with.

The food itself is ok. Falafel was tasty. So were the cheese and the nachos. The crispy chicken burger wasn't crispy at all, the french fries chopped cooked potato's and so on.

There was a band playing and an artist drawing a picture. Both very nice as a happening. But the service killed it all. Sorry, but that...

We are Arianna and Marco a couple from Milan, drinks lovers and good music fans, and let us say... what a pleasant surprise this place is! The Roof offers a continental drink list with classics (cosmopolitan), sweets and local (margarita and mojito) and good out of the blue (americano). The drinks are served with a selection of quite good tapas (papas bravas 😍). Every night there is live music, like Jazz and Chill House. The barman and staff are skilled, kind and friendly. You can choose a seat by the glass to admire a windy sunset or a more sheltered but fashionable seat on the sofas.
