Exceptional Review of the Roman Food Restaurant

I was lucky to discover this Roman cuisine restaurant that left me speechless! The quality of the food was simply incredible.

The strozzapreti alla carbonara were a true spectacle, with a perfect balance of eggs, guanciale, and pecorino. The homemade tortellini were fresh and filled with a delicious mix of meat and cheese. The tagliatelle were perfectly cut and seasoned with a rich and savory sauce. And the ravioli... oh, the ravioli! They were like little packages of joy, filled with fresh and high-quality ingredients.

The price was more than reasonable considering the quality of the food and service. And the service... Chiara was simply fantastic! Attentive, friendly, and professional, she made our experience even more enjoyable.

In summary, if you're looking for a high-quality Roman cuisine restaurant, this is the place for you! Chiara's service deserves a 10/10!

Admittedly, we were first in ….. so no chance for an atmosphere to develop , ( busied up later ) however wonderfully cooked pappardelle was a delight , can’t remember what wife & friend ordered but they were equally impressed …..gorgeous

Super clean, and immaculate toilets also say a lot about a restaurante …… the owners clearly take real pride in their business.

If you want cheap commercial Italian then you need to go elsewhere, but if you enjoy quality presented & cooked food then add this place to the recommended list ….. virtually next door to the long established Avenida …. So easy to find in the quieter area of old town Corralejo

In ogni viaggio c’è un momento in cui si cerca casa. Non quella vera, fatta di mura e abitudini, ma quell’idea familiare che rassicura, che scalda. Per noi, a Fuerteventura, quella casa l’abbiamo trovata varcando la soglia del Piacere – Osteria Italiana, nel cuore di Corralejo.

L’atmosfera è quella giusta: sobria, curata, mai ostentata. Il tipo di eleganza che solo certe osterie italiane sanno offrire, fatta di dettagli che non urlano ma raccontano. E già seduti al tavolo, prima ancora di ordinare, respiravamo un’aria che mancava da giorni.

Abbiamo iniziato con un piatto di bruschette e crostini: perfetti. Un equilibrio tra semplicità e gusto, con menzione d’onore per quello alla cipolla caramellata — un piccolo capolavoro, da solo vale la sosta.

Poi i primi: e qui, con la pasta fatta in casa, la faccenda si fa seria. Matriciana, cacio e pepe, e persino una semplice pasta al pomodoro per nostro figlio di tre anni. Ma attenzione: quella pasta al pomodoro ha fatto centro. Un intero piatto finito, senza storie né capricci. Ed è lì che abbiamo capito tutto: non servono troppi aggettivi, la bontà si riconosce nei gesti più spontanei.

Purtroppo, le porzioni erano generose (e la gola avrebbe voluto di più), ma ci siamo fermati lì, con un piccolo rimpianto per i secondi, e una grande curiosità per tornare.

Ma il vero gran finale? Il caffè. Signori, qui si gioca in casa. Un espresso vero, profondo, pieno. Nessuna brutta sorpresa, solo un ritorno alle origini. Per un attimo, tra l’aroma intenso e il rumore lontano del mare, ci siamo sentiti rinati.
