This is a fabulous family run cafe/bar just off the main strip on Correllejo.
An Caisteal have been consistently rated as the best breakfast in town and it is not hard to see why.
Cooked freshly to order, the breakfasts sets you up for the day.
The owners are Scottish and this is reflected in the breakfasts with the Braveheart having both Lorne sausage and tattle scones. The Scottish theme is also continued in the full menu with Steak Pie available to order. A gluten free menu is always available. The homemade burgers are outstanding.
Drinks are reasonably priced with an excellent selection of Malts and for those who can't do without it, Tennents Lager.
The bar subscribes to both Rangers and Celtic TV and almost all Scottish games and sports are shown.

Toilets were clean and nice, my partner was so happy to see it had loads of lady things available like deodorant, hair spray, kids suncream so on. Was the best food and service we had on our 2 week stay,...

It really won't let you down. Me and my family will definitely be back the next chance we get to escape the Scottish weather 😊. See you all soon team...
