If you looking for an authentic indian experience, this is definitely not the place to go. Its felt more like a tourist scam, with a employe on the mainstreet holding a big sign and (mis)leading people to this place!?
I have eaten in over 100 indian restaurants, been to Kashmir (Srinagar, Ladakh) travelled in India & Sri-Lanka - this place was one of my worst food experiences i ever had. First of all the portions are the smallest i ever got served, the curry bowls even the samosa i ordered was little bit bigger than a walnut(?) - i ended up ordering everything twice and i paid the price for it 34€ (7% tip surcharge, be aware) for 1 Person for lowest quality of (indian)food. As you can see on the picture they cooked the Dal Tadka in the same curry as Channa Masala and both including the rice was bland&flavourless. Tasted like nothing - complete joke!
The first Star ⭐️ for the big waiter, friendly personality, great guy and good schooled in service - so you can expect top service from him🙏 On the other side the bald head „waiter“ should improve his friendliness and not faking his smile.
The second star ⭐️ good location with wifi, clean place/lavatory and besides the small size; the vegan samosa was top notch, tasty but i wouldn’t return to this restaurant. Improve your cooking skills and don’t extracharge everything.

Read moreAfter reading rave reviews about this restaurant, and in the mood for good Indian food, we decided to try Jaipur. Unfortunately this was the worst meal we have ever had and would not recommend.
We asked if they had any vegan options (as the menu is very meat heavy) and before we even sat they were asking what we were going to drink. The service was terrible, they took forever to serve us, despite being the first of the evening in the restaurant. We were sat for 10-15 minutes before bringing out 2 poppadoms and then a further 20 minutes before taking our order. When we did order we waited 30 minutes for food that was quite cold, completely bland and dry. We asked for the non-alcoholic beer and was served 4.7% alcohol version, despite pointing at the menu and them confirming. When we asked them to correct the mistake they were confused as to why we wanted no alcohol.
If you like Indian food and good service, I do not recommend. As those who have enjoyed Indian food in a range of places, this was the worst we've had.
There was also someone selling light up tat (blow up inflatable objects, flashing lights, fluffy cowboy hats, neon toys) coming into the restaurant and asking for money at the tables, which the staff did nothing to avoid those eating...
Read moreHonestly the worst Indian we have ever had! I truly believe that any review with a strange name and stock photo is the restaurant itself. We waited 2 hours for the blandest and chewiest chicken curry ever. Was informed after we ordered and had drinks already that food would take a while, we did not expect to be sat in this restaurant over 2 hours. We had ordered a couple of starters and 1 curry/1 rice and nann to share. Cannot believe it took them so long, owner had rammed the restaurant full clearly when the kitchen couldn’t handle it. When starters did arrive after 1 hour it was a greasy fried onion bahji very stodgy and like a flour paste. Curry arrived maybe 35 mins after starters and it was a runny chewy tikka masala, worst I ever had. Told the waiter that it had taken too long and was ridiculous, he argued back and said he has told us before and they make everything fresh blah blah biggest load of crap we’ve ever heard, Tesco microwave meal would have been fresher. We told him we were told of the wait after we had ordered and he didn’t seem to care, I imagine they do this to a lot of customers. He was rude after this and we didn’t finish the curry and left. Would avoid like the plague and would advise people to not trust the reviews on this...
