When we walked by, the terrace was full so we seated ourselves inside. The interior was cosy and clean and decorated with adverts of some of the beers they serve and quirky panels. We were greeted by friendly staff who gave us all the information on their great selection of international beers, including some of my favourite Belgian ales, and the specials that are listed on boards over the bar. The menu is varied and not to long, always a good indicator of fresh ingredients. I had the goat meat stew (estofado de carne de cabra), a local speciality, while the others had the carpaccio of cured pork and chicken in chocolate and cinnamon sauce. The goat was tender and tasty, the meat falling off the bones reminded me of mouton and came in a delicious sauce served with jacket potatoes that were cooked to perfection. I enjoyed this dish so much I even sucked the marrow from the bones. The carpaccio came covered in oil and honey, which made taste more like dessert than a starter, but was delectable none the less. The chicken strips also were tender and moist, no dry poultry here! The mollo it was served in was a true delight, subtly spiced, hearty and just the right amount of thickness. I salute the chef on a meal well made and then some. We will definitely be going back the next time we're...
Read moreWe went twice to this restaurant (once for lunch, another time for dinner). The food and beer selection is amazing!! We were just a little disappointed with the service. The first day, they were very nice but forgot our order a little bit (that’s okay though!!). What threw us off is the day after: we ordered a cheese selection platter and they couldn’t even tell us which cheese it was (it almost felt like we were weird to ask!). And then, the waiter came to use out of nowhere with a box of 4 beers ans a glass asking us if we wanted to buy it (discounted price he said). What a weird thing to ask as we did not even drink that beer or showed any interest - it was SO RANDOM. And then, after we said a very sharp “no”, he came back AGAIN! With another offer. Weird. But besides that - very...
Read morePicoteo Te Lo Dije is a great spot for a beer and a meal. The selection of beers is large and prices are reasonable, not cheap but not too high either. I had the "Croquettas" which were pretty good, and the portions were not too big, but big enough to be satisfying. The service was friendly overall, but the toilets could have been cleaner. The only downside was the building construction right next to the place which made a lot of noise and dust. It would be better to go on the weekend or in the evening after work if you want to enjoy your meal in peace.
