Gallo Negro Triana — Restaurant in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

We got raw chicken on the quesadillas. We told the waiter and got some sort of apology. We told another waiter we did not want to pay for this particular meal. He then offered us a free dessert, but they still let us pay for the raw chicken. We told the waiter we did not want that, cause the chicken might get us sick on our flight back home. They did not understand, they thought it was solved with some free dessert. So after all we paid for the dessert and not for the chicken. We are now back home and I actually got sick. The rest of the food and the service was fine, but we really expected something more out of solving this issue. We had to work hard to explain that this is not okay for a professional restaurant. Mistakes happen, but please take some more accountability when someone might get sick from food out of your restaurant. Which...

The place is super nice but the food was a big dissapointment. We were eating with a party of 2people and we orderd one natchos that was loaded with so much cheese it was discusting, only cheese, tacos and a tabel spoon of guacamole, and dont get me wrong I really love cheese but this was not it. Then we orderd 4 different tacos to share and to be brutally honest it was not good at all. Plating is good but the flavour is bad. For example birria tacos was so dry it was almost impossible to bite in the taco, and super little saus on the side. Great place for tacos and margaritas! We ordered both 3 tacos (chapo’s and Mazatlan) with an extra guacamole. Half a liter of cocktail and a special michelada! As we’re both still a bit hungry we ordered some extra quesadillas to share and it was a blast! Would have a given a 5 star if the waiters’d been nicer.
