We have been to the restaurant "Tabla Caliente" for the first time. After trying some restaurants in Las Palmas this was a recommendation by a friend. And man, did he recommend right! We arrived and came to a small and cozy restaurant in a small side street not far away from playa de las canteras. A warm welcome by the owner Maria, we chose out of a good winecard a very good verdejo. Maria, she speaks many languages including German, then told us about the dishes of the day. We chose solomillo with truffle sauce, tournedos flambée and two starters - seafood soup and thuna carpaccio. And I can say that the food was on point and really excellent. Maria and her crew really know how to cook! Bravo! It's a real recommendation when you're in Las Palmas - excellent quality and cooking of the food, reasonable prices and a charming staff.

Omg!! The food is soooo good there. We had Stroganoff that was freshly made in front of us with extra delicious garlic patatoes. And my friend had the cordon blue, a really big one, very fresh as well! And then the service! The lady was so nice, helpfull and sweet! Wish we had more days here, we would definitely go back! Good price as well for the quality of food and service they porvide. Thank you so much! Also: they take the covid restrictions very seriously, that is nice to notice as well (for example, cleaning the menus after use)

Here you find realy good food and the staff is really taking care of the guests. Definitely a favorite restaurant. the meat is carefully taken care of by the owner Maria or the chef and fried and sometimes in some dishes flambéed at the table. The meat is carefully selected at the wholesaler by the owner to ensure the highest possible quality. Here it is very good to ask which wine goes with what you have ordered to eat. You get suggestions and choose accordingly.

This is easily the most incredible meal we have eaten. We both had steak in different forms and were blown away by the flavours and presentation. Maria was the most amazing host we could have possibly asked for, asking us questions on preference to be able to help us make a decision on wine and food. The whole experience couldn't have been better. The wine was perfect with the meal we had and we couldn't help ourselves but pick a dessert to finish. So wonderfully content as we left. Highly recommended and already considering another trip back to Las Palmas just to revisit this restaurant! Thank you Maria and so many compliments...
