I would like to start by saying that this review might be a bit more harsh due to the fact that some of the dishes offered on the menu are from my hometown. The food overall was good and it looked very authentic so I will suggest to try but I have unfortunately had not the best of experience while in the restaurant, we ordered some starters which was burrata tricolore served at the right temperature for the burrata, very good. As well the Tagliata was very good and I really enjoyed it, but we also ordered arrosticini, which upon asking if they were coming from Abruzzo, I was answered yes, so I expected to be at least good, the experience was not as expected the arrosticini were way overcooked having some burnt part but the worst part is that they did not taste at all of mutton but instead my partner and I both tasted a fishy flavour, when asked if by mistake they might have cooked the arrosticini on the same place where previously some fish was cooked, we got the answer that they do not serve fish, now the menu does not back this information as we found the following dishes with fish: scialatiello frutti di mare with langostinos which is commonly cooked on the grill, risotto del mar, ravioli marenostrum, and as well some pizzas. As for this reason I found that as a customer my feedback was not heard at all as they stopped me just by saying sorry we don’t serve any fish, even though I left one arrosticini for them to try and tell me if they could taste the same but they did not try it. To finish as well was the service speed, we entered at 8 o’clock and we were the only table for at least 1 hour and 30 min and the food was still coming very slowly between serving. Again this was a review a bit more hard as this was an Italian place and especially serving food from Abruzzo :) overall please give it a try as the...
Read moreWow ! While visiting Gran Canaria for Christmas we had our best meal here and I am very happy to say it was perfect. From the start we were welcomed into a wonderful modern atmosphere with ample lighting, modernly decorated setting that had comfortable seating and quality table setting. Our attendant was mannerly, fun and very knowledgeable of the menu and drinks available and we were able to order with confidence. The food was amazing. While retaining the classical Italian base, this menu was elevated and modern. Food and drink here is very reasonably priced for what you get. Cocktails are scratch made without premix and are very tasty. Super clean bathroom and wash basins with stylish decor. When I return to GC, Vulcanio is first on my to do list. Recommended for all Italian food lovers and is an amazing dining experience. I really can’t say enough so I’ll just say 10/10 and thank you so much for a...
