Frankly, the food simply wasn't good.

Judging by the menu and the looks of of the establishment, the place tries to pass itself off as an Italian joint (or possibly even a restaurant). However, using what seem like canned ingredients is just about as un-Italian as you can get.

The pizza in the photo is the LaTravi (that's what it's called in the menu) - it's mushy, tastes flat and felt undercooked. The fact that the shredded chicken barely tasted like meat and seemed to originate from some pre-packaged source made the whole thing taste far more uninspired than a frozen pizza I can plop together with a few additional toppings for a quarter...

We've been to this restaurant several times and have had nothing but praise for it, until this evening. My last review was a year ago, 5 * for all categories, but it has no reflection on tonight's experience. We booked for 8pm and when we arrived the shutters of the door was halfway down, it was about another 10 minutes before it opened, no apology. Our orders we taken, the starters came in 2 halves but, then our main courses were brought before we were half way through our starters. When we asked him to be taken away, it was quite apparent that this was not appreciated. We won't be back. I must say one of the waitresses...

Would describe as cheap and cheerful, but in a good sense. Stumbled upon by chance as restaurant we were headed for was fully booked. The food (and red wine) was spot on (mushrooms with prawns, garlic bread, Lasagne, red hot and bubbling in the dish 😋 nice tasting meat and a Queen pizza (my partner said was lovely) Portions were large, in fact all the portions were large.
