Wasabi & Kimchi — Restaurant in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

The Korean part of the menu is good, sushi felt old, any sushi with salmon felt very cold like it was standing in a fridge for a while, not impressed.

I don't want to make this too long but as I wrote before, the korean part of the menu is enjoyable I liked it, the salmon on the nigiri was good, but any sushi with the salmon in small pieces was not good, was much colder than the rest and didn't give me a good feeling, regarding your service I find strange that you saw that we left the salmon tartare (with surimi A.K.A. fake crab), the temaki, and the other sushi with salmon and you did not ask if there was something wrong with it. A wonderful Japanese+Korean restaurant with very helpful and pleasant staff and fantastic food. The japchae and beef bulgogi were both very tasty, and the tuna tartare was mesmerising. You could literally take a photo of it and publish it in a culinary magazine. It was fantastic.

One thing I would have liked to see is more soup options, especially as main dishes, such as kimchi jjigae or yukgaejang, or possibly some udon/ramen options.

Overall a great experience that I can recommend...

After searching for a restaurant to have dinner during a Monday night we have ended at this place. It is open on Mondays, very clean and the lady who served us was very friendly and always smiling. We have decided to go for gyoza and corean traditional food which have proved as being very good. I highly recommend...
